Banger video, I've been running T17 maps rolled specifically to have more rare mods and monsters, with the hunted traitors and 2x 4 mirrored rares scarab and scarab of nemeses, the loot is ridiculous.

They're cheap, too!

For the maven interference mod, the Mark mastery "Marked targets cannot regenerate life" prevents Maven's heal. So if you're a build that can use that mastery then that's another option to make maven interference doable.

For the maven mods, if you have the free sockets you can just run frost bomb. That's pretty helpful on any Regen situation.

It helps, but it doesn't 100% cancel it out like Occultist, so you will need a lot of damage to power through. Also earplugs.

What filter do you use? I end up clicking on so much bubble currency it starts to hurt

Uber Strict or Uber Strict Plus is a good starting point for t17 farming.

Which build would you recommend for this farm? A strong build that can deal with most mods easily? I want to create a second character and have a 1 mirror starting budget for it

Any build with a mirror budget should be able to blast through t17's. Detonate Dead is still the reigning meta champ. We were thinking about revisiting our Mahuxotl's Machination LS Champ build (kzread.info/dash/bejne/fZmJw9WBo7SpcaQ.html) from last league because it's super tanky and totally nullifies increased elemental resistances by using Doryani's Prototype, but there are still a ton of build-disabling mods for it, too. Most builds have a lot of build-disabling mods in t17's, unfortunately.

Could you share your PoB mate? I recently leveled a PF and would love to see what level of gear on him alows to farm T17 :).

Yeah, they can definitely work. Bloodlines is super strong if your rolls on the map are good, but it is expensive! Nemeses is extremely strong if you're wearing a Headhunter, since it gives you way more rare monster mods to steal.

Thanks for the build, just found out that your channel and toxic rain content. I subscribed! I wanted to ask you, I see that you are able to farm t17 with your current toxic rain set up. Do you think that upgrading to your mageblood setup will bring it to the point that t17 are easy peasy? I'm playing toxic rain too and I just want to push the build further so t17 are not too hard to run ! Thanks for your wisdom !

The Mageblood setup should have no trouble with T17's as long as the other pieces (+2 neck, double DoT multi quiver, cluster jewels & optimal skill gem setup) are in order. With that being said, a well-rolled Tides of Time & Progenesis has been a very powerful combo, and arguably made things smoother than a full Mageblood setup at around half the price. The key is just to not gamble on bad T17 mod combos. If it seems like it's going to be tough, it most likely is! Rolling through maps can cost a lot of Chaos, but that's just how it goes. The price of Divines has dropped in each of the last three days because the whole community is realizing that T17's require a LOT of Chaos to get them into a playable/rewarding state!

I remember Affliction league farming 10 000 monsters per map on my pathfinder and I usually took double meteor altar, it was fun... but deadly. Just running around to avoid the tons of meteors. It was still only 60% per flasks I think ?

Yup. If you can just tank a meteor, it's not so bad, but it's a gamble that something else won't hit at the same time.

Having a hard time just dropping t17 maps. Have all the map nodes, farming back to basics and all the modifiers. I've dropped maybe a total of 4-5 t17 maps out of 150 200 maps.

@mattmuoio4936 yeah I got all 4 void stones. Using all the 2 percent connecting nodes, and everything that has increased explicit modifiers. Maybe I'm just getting bad rng. I did get one 5 minutes after typing this ,in a Vaal map I ran. I'll keep plugging away, thanks though appreciate it.

Yeah I think you should get about half of a t17 every map you run, so 100 t17 over 200 maps, with moderate juice.

This league I tried toxic rain/CA... for like the 5th time... this time when I got to around 10div investment the build felt horrible, I couldnt kill anything and everything was murdering me. Man I wish I understood what the issue was because the build seems so fun and strong but it feels so shit when I play it :(

Not bad, they're pretty common.

The fact that with Back to Basics, you can have some modifiers that will literally bring some of your stats in the negative is absolutely stupid. There should be a cap to those modifers to still be able to run the map. I play CoC DD and there are so many mods that I can't run with Back to Basics it's retarded. I can't run less AoE, or less energy shield regen, or less defenses, or less cooldown recovery, or less crit damage, all of these mods will literally prevent me from doing any damage at all, so I have so roll chaos orbs for 5 minutes until I get something that I can run. GGG said the T17 were supposed to be the bridge between T16s and Ubers, there is no bridge at all, it's either you can run the map, or you can't, not because of the difficulty, but because GGG allows for your stats to actually go in the negative. This isn't new. Mods hitting certain breakpoints such as 100% reduced AoE have always worked this way.

The mods on t17 are fine, it's your fault for scaling them at 250% effect for your greedy farming purpose. Just run them vanilla or reroll into a dedicated farmer. Or farm t16. Or farm the ubers. It's not like there wasn't a thousand things to do in the game. Though this league does feel narrower than the ones before.

@@oneoranota Your logic is flawed and has very low thought process behind it. I can assume the fact that I'm ultra juicing the map, but the fact that a " less cooldown recovery " mod will literally make my skill cooldown to go in the negative, which basically means that I can press the button once and the cooldown will never recover, preventing me to use the skill again during the entire map, is absolutely fucking stupid. There should be a cap to 1%, making it at least still possible to use the skill. PoE has enough build disabling mods we don't need more of them, that's not difficulty, that's just annoying and makes us burn chaos orbs trying to roll the maps.
