I’m really loving my Accutune Kings on my Bronco. I ran then before and after the tune. Shocks are definitely similar to a fine suit. Expensive material but you have to trim it to fit. Same with high end suspension, very high quality but they need to be adjusted to your vehicle setup as all vehicles are modified differently by their owners. Their setup really dialed in my Bronco now and I LOVE tearing through whoops and jumps at 75 mph (as you can in the video;)

Thanks! Those high speed runs were no joke, I was cracking up watching them. I'm jealous, I want to run some short course.

Do both systems require an upper control arm? Your site only states its required Fox I assume that is from the extra 1" of lift height over the kings? Also can you speak to the performance of the Kings with out adjusters?

UCA is recommended. Performance for Kings without adjusters is just as good, you just dont benefit from the ability to stiffen the compression. Very expensive to add later if its something you think you would like.

Great Video! I'm still undecided.. Can you guys test the new falcon 3.3 adjustable kit for the G6 Bronco that will fit 37's? They offer two kits however one for 35's and one for 37's and are separate part numbers.

Why do you have to upgrade all those things if your already spending a ton of money to get upgraded shocks? I understand it will make the shocks ride better but that seems to defeat the point to upgrade if you have to take them apart and put new springs on and pistons. I'm running Falcon coilovers on my bronco! You guys should check them out! I had fox coilovers on my bronco and they were really soft and did bottom out super easy over any bumps even on road. With the falcons Its been night and day difference out of the box compared to fox. Check out Falcon when you guys get a chance! You will be super impressed by the performance compared to king and fox!

The fox shocks you may have had on your Bronco are the OEM ones that came with Bronco, correct? Those are different than what we discuss in this video. Our background & passion focuses on making a good shock even better. For a stock weight vehicle with moderate expectations, both of these shocks can do very well out of the box and no upgrades are needed. Aftermarket shocks are not a "one size fits all" so we cater to each customers needs. We take these shocks to a whole new level of performance with a few upgrade options and the differences are very noticeable. Our non-upgrade package still gets our custom tuning and that is free of charge, $500-ish value. Feel free to check out more of our tech articles to see how detailed we get with shock performance & thanks for watching: accutuneoffroad.com/articles/

Can you rebuild falcons now? Last I heard you have to send them to teraflex to get them rebuilt. They did not sell the rebuild kit online

no the shocks that I had on my bronco were the fox 2.5 elites. the same ones you have in the video. They were super soft and just didn't perform like I expected. I know one size doesn't fit all but I expected better performance out of the box then what they have come out with with fox. Are you planning on checking out Teraflexs falcon shocks for the bronco?@@accutuneoffroad

yeah you have to send them to falcon to rebuild them. The benefit with me on that factor is I live in Utah and they are headquartered out of Utah. Actually was the first one to get a pair of falcon coilovers for the bronco since I was local and a big bronco enthusiast. Trust me on this. Falcon is better then fox and king respectfully. @@budgetcon9611

So your experiences with the newer Fox is similar to overland outfitters - very hard and harsh. seems like you needed to do ALOT to those shocks to make them "off roadable". Does FOX even test their setups? Yikes.

They tested Bronco Performance Elite Series Shocks? I'm not familiar with that video. For most, off the shelf shocks probably ride just fine. We tend to take ride quality to the next level. Its very difficult for any shock manufacture to offer specific shocks based for every vehicles weight range and driving style. This is why we custom tune and/or re-spring shocks for customers looking for the best performance.

In my opinion Radflo gave a louder, rougher ride over the King and Fox. Did fairly well as far as handling and allowed a lower height setting then King. King and Fox felt better at speed though.

I don't get it! Why is Fox so bad out the box? They have done all their testing for what to have everything changed by someone else. They have high speed and low speed adjustment. If your rig has steel bumpers and 37's a roofrack, tent winch ex.. the ride will be different. Fox is great, but it seems you're down playing fox. I'm running fox on my 4 door and never had an issue. I've never had freeway hop, even with stock suspension. I've never bottomed out nothing. Suspension travel is great also with no binding. I run Kings on my 2door and they have a little to much travel in front. It also depends on what height your at. Most guy want to ride like thier in monster truck and don't think about suspension geometry. They both are good but give Fox more props at their development.

Fox makes a great product, we didn't say these shocks were bad. If you are familiar with AccuTune Offroad, you will know that we custom tune shocks for every customer (free) and in some cases we'll swap springs to work with the vehicles added weight. In some cases we will also recommend different pistons (Fox or King) depending on use. This is nothing new to us and something we get tremendous praise for. We are after the best performance possible for each specific vehicle. We are big fans of Fox products and give them plenty of props in almost all of our comparison articles, feel free to check those out here: accutuneoffroad.com/articles/ I'm glad to hear the shocks you have are riding nicely. For most, that will be the case. For others wanting more, they can come to us. We can revalve or re-spring pre-owned shocks or we can sell new with all the work done ahead of time.

Similar feed back everywhere it seems. Lots of people distributing Fox seem to be making excuses for how bad they perform offroad. For an *offroad premium* suspension, its really unacceptable how much Accutune has to do to get these things right. Good for on road performance; but, its a $5000 off road set... I mean my stock shocks offers good on road performance and harsh off road performance as well...

What I don’t understand is why don’t these shock manufacturers make shocks with rebound dampening adjustment along with high and low speed compression dampening, fox has high and low speed king has high speed if they put this on the shock it would make life easier for everyone, it gets expensive sending shocks back-and-forth trying to dial in and re-shim stack dampening, at least Bistein has come out with something, It would just make life so much easier you could go out with a notepad take notes make adjustments come back make more adjustments I really feel that would be the best way to go. It’s just too much darn work and expense sending things back-and-forth until you get it right because everyone’s rig is different how they drive how much weight etc.

Good question. Based on our experience, most would not need rebound adjustment settings. A small portion of enthusiasts may enjoy those extra features, but I imagine it would come with an additional cost pushing the market price. Maybe this is something we will see in the future from Fox and King.
