Choppers were always a welcome sound up north-either fire support or casevac or supplies and water and sometimes just mail.Super Frelons Pumas and Alo 3's made such a difference!

Ek mis die dae wat ek op my pa se skoot groot geword het in die Puma's,my pa was 'n flight Engineer op 17 en 19 Eskader,en hier vlieg van sy ou vriende,Johan Stroh onder andere....Pine,check die refs.... Wens my pa kon vandag nog leef om al die vlieg stories te kon vertel. Goeie tye en van die SAAF se beste chopper boys.

Soos ek kyk, ruik ek die Jet A1 met startup. Maggies, ek mis die flight line.
