Excellent! Great film unspoilt by music or poor editing. I was lucky enough to fly in a 230 Squadron Puma a few years ago. It was awesome! Really enjoyed seeing this.

The tail rotor makes the same sound as the S76-A, S61, and S76-D tail rotors do. I just don't know how and why since the S76s use 4 bladed tail rotors while the S61 and the Puma use 5 bladed tail rotors. Is it the rotor tail's design style and RPM speed that affects its sound?

I remember the 'Flying Tigers' , they were at RAF Aldergrove, Belfast in the '70's. In fact there is a good video on here/KZread of a 70's film of them . Brilliant taxis for we in the Army back then too.

It's the crewman's job to be on the lookout for any hazards and it's much easier to do this with the doors open. He checks that it's 'Clear above and behind' before takeoff. He also acts as a weight, a chock and to carry the pilots' bags 😊.
