    Not gonna lie I don’t like this drill. Athletes that are ready to start handstand walking are better off learning to bail or cartwheel out of it with plenty of room and no spotters . I don’t like putting members in front of other members to spot each other recipe for disaster 🤷🏽‍♂️

    Nothing wrong with spotting if the coach knows how to do it properly and communicates clearly with the athlete.

    A better drill in my opinion is standing on the side of the athlete and hold one or both legs at the knee/quad height

    @@luisoliveira601standing to the side can help, but NEVER hold the knee or ankle joint. If they start falling and you try to steady them by holding a joint, you could seriously injure them. Always hold a muscle, such as the thighs or calves, rather than a joint.
