Imperator No.48 Carmen. Toreador March with bells better than Regina Polyphon
This is a video of a very rare Imperator music box. The Imperator music boxes were built between the 1890's and early 1900's by Friedrich Adolf Richter (Germany) with excellent craftsmanship.
The Imperator No. 48 has 12 bells and two duplex combs (4 combs!) which gives it a very rich sound. Also the arrangement of the combs is quite unusual. They were not arranged on the left and the ride side of the music box, but above and beneath the center spindle.
According to an advertisement the Imperator music boxes "are acknowledged to be of most excellent workmanship and of the richest tone"...
And now enjoy my video,
Chris

The only reason why it got popular was because of Pewdiepie and Markiplier. If they did not play the game, you would have never knew about it. So stop acting like its soooo amazing

While I’ve been a FNaF fan for well over a few years, I’ve been a trained pianist even longer. I was given training that was primarily focused on classical music (later my training expanded outside of classical, and music theory was a key aspect of my training since day 1). But I digress, the Toreador March was one of the many songs I learned and developed a great appreciation for. Upon hearing it in the first Five Nights At Freddy’s game, it peaked my interest. What an original and creative use of this type of music. I delved deeper into the games and found more music like this. Some were remakes of classical songs just like Toreador, some were completely original pieces (such as Ballora’s Music Box). But they all had one thing in common: at their heart, they were all beautiful compositions clearly written by talented people with classical training as I have. Now mind you, the music (and audio in general) is not my only reason for loving this franchise. But it is most certainly a contributing factor. Being a person with an ear for music and sound, you tend to listen much deeper than most. I have to thank FNaF for inspiring and motivating my music career. I am truly proud it was part of my childhood, and to this day still holds a special place in my heart.

Honestly, I knew this song before FNAF but had forgotten it until I played the game. I'm so glad I got back into this. It's such a beautiful piece, no matter what anyone associates it with.
I honestly don't understand why everyone is getting upset about Five Nights At Freddy's bringing people to the song. It's really not that big of a deal. Besides, isn't it better if people who usually would not hear this song be introduced to it? Funnily enough, I wasn't introduced to this song through FNAF at all. I've heard the first part of the song countless times from my old NintenDogs game. I heard the part you hear in FNAF while I was watching an episode of Gilligan's Island. I was quite pleased to hear it in music box form, as it is a very pretty tune.

I love this song so much. To me it combines Erieness, innocence, nostalgia, and excitement all in one. It just reminds me of a young child growing up on the 80's care free. This song feels like it was someone's childhood. I didn't come here from fnaf. I came to enjoy the music even though fnaf is the reason I feel that way.
These things are so amazing. Pretty.

I rly need one of these. ik they're old and stuff but I love them they're just so creepy I love it.
Hurrah! How wonderful are the melodies played by music-box. The sound of toothed comb picked by rolling spiked cylinder and small tuned set of bells are really pleasant and amazing to hear. Some antique tall case striking clocks played melodies for each and every hour on built in music-box just before striking the hours on tubular bell or coiled wire gong. Nowadays these types of music-boxes and chiming clocks are electronically imitated by some quartz clocks because they contains electronically recorded and programmed circuit board of sound chips connected to speaker. But nothing can beat the real music-boxes and chimes.
This actually plays everytime the power in my home goes out. I'm not joking.

Its crazy that a german man from the 1800s made this song and then many many years later its brought here as a song for a character from a horror game that made the game so popular as a franchise. Brings a tear of joy to my heart hearing that its getting a movie appearance now.
This is such an amazing tune I ever heard on a large disc coin operated music box and the tune is also Freddy's tune when the power goes out and Freddy's head appears

I love this classical piece! It's so entrancing in this form; I love it. It's sad though, that many people seem to know it only from the game Five nights at Freddy's or Pewdiepie (who is a great youtuber, don't get me wrong). However, there are many people do know it, not from Five nights at Freddy's and Pewdiepie, and that is nice. It shows that this generation still recognizes classical music.

I have gotten TONS of hate because of that, and let me tell you haters: everyone has an opinion. You have an opinion. I have an opinion. That random person outside of your house has an opinion. We are all human. I had to deal with really bad hate. I was told to kill myself, called autistic, retarted, etc. I don't mind if you hate our fandom, it sucks! It truly does, but I am apart of it. It is my life. All I am asking, is please: don't insult people for not agreeing with you. We are all human, and we have different opinions. You can insult us because of how dysfunctional we are, just please, don't use mental disorders. It is pretty offensive. FNaF came out in 2014. Carmen [Where the song is from] came out in 1875. That's over 100 years. So for the fans of FNaF Don't think this song is from FNaF. The fans of FNaF might think Grandfather clock and Pop goes the weasel Are the Puppet's theme. But these songs were made Way before FNaF existed. Also Scott Cawthon did NOT make these songs.

This song was always stuck in my sub-conscious. I feel I remember it. The song that plays in the game reminded me of this. Really good piece of music.
