Goatbe Bryant IMG is the #1 team in the country. Their starting 11 on both sides are D1 bound. If you were paying attention edgewater’s defense was solid but offense couldn’t put anything together so they were constantly but in bad situations. On top of the IMG’s defense scored twice on the Edgewater’s offense. Don’t just look at the stats. Pay attention to the game.

Everyone is saying IMG is going to whoop on Duncanville. Y’all gotta realize that the coaching at that school with Coach Samples is on point. He’s the reason why Duncanville is good again especially with how stacked they are this year. And they don’t recruit because they’re not allowed to. IMG coaches don’t have very good play calling and coaching, but they have the players and talent yet those kids seem to be all for themselves at that school since it is a recruiting school and they went there for their own goals ? Duncanville is home grown talent with kids who are dedicated to sticking together as a real team and have each other’s backs at all times. They may have fell short in state to North Shore (another very well coached school with a stacked team too, with also home grown talent) two years in a row, but they are definitely going to compete and have a good game against IMG. Just like they did with St. John’s last year (another recruiting school). I most definitely wouldn’t take Duncanville light because they know how to play some football. Great coaching with a stacked team (They have about 21 D1 recruits) that’s always sticking together as a brotherhood will always have a better chance of beating talent. Just like what happened when IMG was outcoached by SFA and Mater Dei, even though they recruit but not as much as IMG does. Regardless, it’s gonna be a huge game to watch, we’ll see what happens but I’m looking forward to watching it!! It’ll definitely be a close game for sure.

Duncanville and Texas are vastly overrated in HS ball. They are not the standard for others to reach. That Mater Dei game was a total humiliation and their other teams wouldn't have done any better. Texas has good athletes but they play cupcakes all year and don't get better. Iron hones iron. Teams like IMG, Bosco, St. Frances and Mater Dei are playing top caliber teams every week and getting better while Texas pats themselves on the back for beating overmatched patsies.

I wish people stop complaining about who IMG plays, these are warm up games for these guys. They’re practically already prepared for the next level, they’re obviously at the best academy, facility etc. because there the best.

After watching several IMG football games, it all boils down to which team has the most resources to develop their players physically and mentally, and not necessarily D-1 talent! A common theme I find when watching IMG play other schools is, IMG outplays the other team physically and mentally! A lot of these schools come out strong against IMG, but they can't maintain that level of play for 4 quarters. The reason that IMG can play 4 quarters strong comes down to their state of the art exercise facility and maybe roster depth. IMG develops their players physically and mentally. Because IMG has more than enough resources they can further develop their 3rd and 4th string players(to a competitive level) and rotate them in the game. This does one important thing, it gives their 1st and 2nd string players time to rest. This is what allows them to play 4 quarters of high tempo football. The reason why Mater Dei is able to compete with IMG is because of solid coaching, talented and DISCIPLINED players, and a gold standard workout facility. Many of the other schools have the talent, but lack the resources to really, I mean really develop their players! Thanks for attending my TED TALK!

I see it differently. IMG has the nations best talent but they win by recruiting overwhelmingly stronger players than their opponents at every position. Not by playing better football. Teams can keep up with good team play but most eventually wear down just because of IMGs size and depth. They don't play better football, they are consistently outcoached when facing Southern California and other top teams. They are not ready for a lot of the situations they see in games, if they can't bully a win they have a difficult time. A much smaller Centennial took them to the last second of a 50-49 game, IMG needed a miracle to escape. Centennial is a well-coached public school in LA. Mater Dei beat them solidly and then they broke down completely against St. Frances 35-7. Then lost again in the rematch. Good athletes but that is where it ends.

Play that public school in Dallas.. Duncanville!!
