Well, I've been imagining a vegan world for many years, so you could say I'm quite familiar with chasing down the "impossible." Humanity should live up to what we've called ourselves and be HUMANE, or compassionate. And the only way to do that, as far as animals are concerned, is becoming a vegan society. Anything else results in atrocities on unimaginable scales. And we are all complicit.

You assume it's even possible to be "humane" with the rest of the biosphere. The very nature of life make it impossible.

@thomasbardoux1692 you're the one assuming that I'm assuming that. I didn't say anything of the sort. Veganism, by definition, is about animals, creatures that feel pain and can suffer. It's not about every form of life (though it is a good thing to extend compassion where we can). Also in the definition, are the words "possible and practicable" What's "impossible" is getting people to change their selfish habits

@@MattAngiono you say animals, but when we look at vegans, it's about an extremely specific groups of animals. I've yet to see vegans actively trying to protect insects, worms or arachnid, which are animals and killed by the billions for the functioning of our society. You also make the classic assumption that people not going vegan is about selfish habits. But an intrinsect diet is not a habit. And eating is not selfish.

@thomasbardoux1692 Yes, animals is the word we use, but really, it's about sentience. And there is definitely a hierarchy. The animals that can scream in pain or cry out and mourn when their child is stolen are the ones that get the most consideration. Insects don't do either of those things. But this also isn't saying we don't care about them. Many vegans will go out of their way to not kill insects or to remove a spider from the house compassionately instead of trying to stomp it. But as I already mentioned, the definition is about what's "practicable" and so the deaths that must happen to retain human civilization aren't something vegans are generally concerned with. This isn't hypocrisy because we literally can't survive without civilization and therefore some animal death is necessary to maintain our own lives. What vegans are talking about is the NEEDLESS death of animals raised for food or to be turned into products, or enslaved for our enjoyment. These are perfectly avoidable and you can still be healthy and thrive without those killings. When I refer to habits, I'm referring specially about the people who have been made aware of veganism and maybe even tried it a little, but refuse to change. Most vegans weren't this way BEFORE we became aware that there was a better way. It wasn't selfish then because we didn't know. But once you know, there's no going back. With the rise of social media, almost no one isn't at least somewhat aware that their choice to eat animals causes suffering. And once you have that awareness, then choosing to continue to condemn animals to horrific abuse is certainly a selfish choice. YOU have that awareness now, as we've been discussing it here. So yes, if you don't choose to become vegan, that is purely a selfish choice. The only one it benefits is you, and clearly it harms many animals not to make the change. I'm just being honest.... Hopefully you'll consider that, because just about every vegan I know of considers it the BEST DECISION WE'VE EVER MADE. NO JOKE!

Reading this as I chow down on 2 Five Guys burgers (double 🍔 paddies) 2 thick creamy shakes, and fries. Tastes so good. When should I veganize my diet? I was thinking of making it a new years resolution sometime in the distant future. Burgers 🍔 and chicken 🐔 are my favorites. If I give them up, can I please just stick to steak and give up the shakes instead? Thanks 😊

So,what is the universe you're talking about exactly? What's being torn apart exactly? I would have to disagree with that assumption entirely. I would disagree with most of what people have come to think is reality. Most of the hypothesis we see are based in religious beliefs disguised 🥸 to look like but more importantly taught to be science. When it should be called science based religious beliefs. The vacuum space and the matter-verse are separate properties. This idea that there's some type of surface to the vacuum space is not true. We see this by simply looking into the infinite ♾️ vacuum space. Each galaxy has its own equator thus giving the impression of a north and south. But this perspective is to its own galacty and isn't relevant to it's neighbors. But could be part of a much bigger form of the same thing there by multiplying the size of the infinite ♾️ vacuum space exponentially hitherto unheard of really. That was a movie reference lol. The cauldron of the cosmos? We are heading to the stars and I'm not sure Jesus is going to help us. Great video again. Peace ✌️ 😎, to science and the unknown.

That would be an incredibly dull existence. There would be no surprise. And if you decided you wanted to surprise yourself, using your "power," that would immediately prove you weren't all knowing after all. You've worked yourself into a paradoxical imagination..... I suggest you consider this a little more deeply
