I'm a FTP 5 yr player. 65 mil account. CC's and DD's are my favorite game modes. I'm in D2 in CC and saw my first Mephisto, now I'll have to deal with this new team. Locking a toon behind a paywall is just bad! It's an auto lose in CC. The gap between the have's and have nots is getting wider.

Yeah this is going to be a devastating blow to f2p folks competing in those higher crucible match ups, especially those who have Britain vs have not

So from what I'm understanding is you have to have BP Shuri and Hank Pym at five yellow stars to just unlock Captain Britain. The only way to do that will be purchase their offers. So he's paywalled. He also won't be an option to get again for 6mos to a year after the event. Which is why he'll have the Epic tag, like IM Zombie and Juggernaut Zombie. So I will be skipping the Illuminati team and whatever Legendary that they'll be required for.

Ahhh, yeah that makes alot more send after re-reading it. Also brother why Skip? We will still be able to get 5 members (3 of them reworked). I still see this being unlockable legendary F2p, with our without Britain

Without captain britain the team won't be that good. So this is very bad for us f2p players

@@RaygeMSF So I'll still try and unlock Shuri and HP, but it sounds like you'll need to have CB with Shuri and HP (with 2 of the 3 others) to unlock the next Legendary. Since we won't be able to unlock CB. I'll skip them until I'm able to get them to 5 stars F2P. Some of the other content creators who have tried out the teams said that Illuminati isn't a good team without CB.

@@RaygeMSFunlock the characters for sure but I won’t be levelling them until I know I have to for the next legendary. I will hoard the necessary resources and only deploy them if absolutely needed. Sounds like this team is pretty meh with CB. Very surprised by your excitement on this, Iron Man and Black Bolt reworks suck and the paywalling for the most meaningful character ruins this team for FTP.

@@christophermyers4499everyone is saying CB won’t be necessary for next legendary unlock. Also, blog wording makes it sound like you need any 5 of the 6. BUT, it’s likely CB will be needed for leaderboard and completing certain difficulty levels.

It's 6 characters because they are going to hard cap how many people get to unlock captain Britain with money. They want a semi functional team without him

As you might have realized by now, CB is quite definitely being paywalled. That's probably why this team has 6 members. Not for theory crafting, but so it can still be a team when one member will not be available. I guess that the 5-piece team will be the only option for us F2P player, so I'll be doing that, but I'll probably hold off on building any of them until the legendary event come out and we know exactly how much should we invest in them them. Then again, I'm sure they'll make other event(s) to require them before that - Temporal Dimension for Cabal, for instance. Trust me.

Rayge use your influence to help us push back against this! We need more support and more voices

I bet ppl are missing the original legendary unlocks now 😂😂😂. Those were better. They required 5 star toons as well but we were given about 4 months to get that many, instead of whatever this is

Probably. It seems they want a bigger wall between spenders and non-spenders. I think this is partially designed to bucket the player base more efficiently. Players that don’t unlock him will quit or move alliances.

CB unlock is garbage. F2p are shut out of getting the shield from the team showcase by stars. Scopely is proving once again how little they care for f2p. You can't be alright with this, Rayge, being f2p yourself.🧐

Going to share my thoughts on this in a video, stay tuned brother. Hoping my perspective and experience can shed light as well as for those feeling the frustrations and fomo of spending. This is not a good update for F2p, that is a fact

I think this is going to be a disaster for F2P players. From what I understand Captain Britain is virtually unattainable F2P. And the team really doesn't function properly without him. This is the new money grab technique Scopely is implementing. Epic characters that can only be unlocked with cash. And to make it even worse the team is required for the next legendary. How much you wanna bet that trial is going to be tuned to whether or not you have Capt. Britain. This feels really bad to not have a F2P way to unlock this epic character.
