IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad is the continuation of the legendary IL-2 Sturmovik series that has set the standard for PC combat flight games for more than ten years. Unique and detailed damage model lets you use the pros and cons of various aircraft and tanks to your advantage.
Adjust the tank aiming sights for distance and view the tank interior just as a plane cockpit!
LEARN:
Action takes place on a 358 х 230 km map - The largest and most detailed recreation of the Battle of Stalingrad theatre ever modeled in a flight simulation with unique structures, buildings and landscapes.
Single-Player Campaign scenario follows the real chronology of the battle starting with Operation Uranus on November 19th, 1942 and continues to the complete liberation of the city on February 2nd, 1943.
Ten Legendary aircraft of the era have been thoroughly re-created using original drawings and blueprints from the Central archive of the Russian Ministry of Defence.
Precise simulation of the flight model allows everyone to learn the special character and limits of each and every plane in the game. Use each of their special abilities and performance characteristics to complete your mission and survive the brutal fight.

My fav bit was “just checking the instruments to check all is well” 😂😂 as half the wing has come off, the engine is spewing oil everywhere, Uri is on deaths door, and you can’t see anything 😂

One pass, one kill. Nice start. ^^ Edit : it's rare for the gunner to survive. If history is to be believed, it was usually the pilot who came out alive after engagements, and gunners had to be replaced on a regular basis !

Yes, the pilot in the Stuka had armour plate to protect him from enemy bullets - while the gunner in the back did not. Making the gunner the pilot's human shield.

@@timonsolus Nope. A human shield is someone the enemy does not like firing at or harming. I am pretty sure gunners do not count that way. Meat armour, but steel is better and stronger and already there. So … the gunner is provisions for the pilot if they are shot down in the cold …
Always happy when you release IL-2 videos, especially when you fly such under-appreciated (rightfully so) planes as the P-40!

Once those 190s got on your 6, four 20mm cannons made your P-40 look like a Swiss cheese. You had no chance of returning to base with the wings full of holes, an engine spewing oil and sounding like a bag of spanners. You should have bailed out.
Fantastic special taff, reminds me of your USSR campaign when you used to fly the iconic P40 Warhawk, they we're excellent, gripping and good old days, so nostalgic. Even now your IL-2 is as excellent and fantastic as ever, even if it's not campaigns your putting on these specials are utterly magnificent as always. Had tons of fun in the P40 Warhawk and it never gets boring for me, great to see you in it for this special. Thanks so much for putting this on, was really excellent.. thanks so much mate 👍
War und ist immer noch eine der Besten Flightsims, ich hatte mal eine total schwarze Frontscheibe wirklich null Sicht, und wurde von meinem Wingman der mich auf 3 Uhr im Formationsflug begleitet hat, zum Landeanflug geleitet, und kaum auf dem Boden ist der Motor komplett gestorben. Ein Highlight, in Sachen Multiplayer.

It may well be possible the pilot survived....though he certainly seemed wounded.

As an American, I love hearing foreigners tell me about the P-40. Your sync was off(again). Nice display; poor judgement.
Why do you never bail out when you have the chance and the writing is on the wall? Live to fight another day instead of trying to nurse a striken bird home that has no chance.
