IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad is the continuation of the legendary IL-2 Sturmovik series that has set the standard for PC combat flight games for more than ten years. Unique and detailed damage model lets you use the pros and cons of various aircraft and tanks to your advantage.
Adjust the tank aiming sights for distance and view the tank interior just as a plane cockpit!
LEARN:
Action takes place on a 358 х 230 km map - The largest and most detailed recreation of the Battle of Stalingrad theatre ever modeled in a flight simulation with unique structures, buildings and landscapes.
Single-Player Campaign scenario follows the real chronology of the battle starting with Operation Uranus on November 19th, 1942 and continues to the complete liberation of the city on February 2nd, 1943.
Ten Legendary aircraft of the era have been thoroughly re-created using original drawings and blueprints from the Central archive of the Russian Ministry of Defence.
Precise simulation of the flight model allows everyone to learn the special character and limits of each and every plane in the game. Use each of their special abilities and performance characteristics to complete your mission and survive the brutal fight.

Starting to really like this series. I actually felt bad about Sebastian
Seems that Jacques is fresh off the navigator-clone conveyor-belt on the planet Kamino.

Those Thud pilots got a touch-n'-go show! RAF liaison officer sticks his head out of the hut, glances at the poor young impressionable Yanks, and comments, "Mossi pilots..." I honestly thought you had more 20mm ammo. My goof.

Scratch 2 Fw-190s. Well done. Jack (Jock? Jacque?) needs a bit more polish on his navigation skills. But no worries, you can log a touch-and-go in your logbook. Besides, if you get shot to hell coming back at night, Jacque can steer you to that closest airfield.
It must have been traumatizing when he saw the “unconscious” Sebastian despawn. 😭

It's hard to determine depth on a flat screen. The best way to tell approach alt is to keep an eye on the altimeter. Check altitude before takeoff. That's the runway altitude. That's how you know when you're about to touch down.
Jacque's first mission thoughts about his pilot:: Pluses: shot down 2 enemy fighters. Cons: must have fallen asleep during landing lessons. Summary: it's going to be a fun tour of duty.
Excellent episode taff, where ever Sebastian is.. he'll be smiling at today's successes. Congratulations on becoming an ace in this campaign, Eddie James gets through another flight and D-DAY is drawing closer, have to be on form though. Downing those two FW190s is effectively payback for Sebastian.. however.. personally speaking.. I would have called it a day after you downed that second FW190, I would have left the scene post haste after that 2nd FW190 went down, I mean fair enough.. there we're no other fighters in the area but in the enemy's backyard.. you can't be sure if the call got out calling for help, and you can't be sure if the enemy has numerous AAA set up, I do understand though.. don't misunderstand.. it's so very tempting to strafe enemy rail traffic and transports but if your on your own.. I wouldn't take the risk. Regardless.. Well done, well done indeed.. downing those FW190s was so very satisfying, blown the first one to fragments and the other went down brightly in flames. I would imagine that medal earned in the last flight is earned today. Great work mate, Eddie James proves what he can do, and Jack has had his baptism of fire, this is an excellent series, keep it up mate, well done 👏 👍

I don't mean to sound like a know it all lol, but it is pronounced Jacque, not Jack. But of course no worries and good comment, have a goodday mate.

@joeaustin4472 Of course, and yeah I wouldn't be surprised, but the way that helps me is the way he pronounces it cause he does it with the french spelling with the way he sounds what would be the Q. But I'm pleased to hear someone else enjoys this as much as I do lol, IL-2 Careers have always been a favorite of mine whenever I get bored of my own, Taff and other youtubers like Wolfpack345 never disappointed with IL-2 especially.

@@manipulationdoctor Yeah that's right.. again, my bad that error. I love IL-2, my passion so it is, just glad to know others share this passion also. I do desert wings, Moscow, Stalingrad, 1946 and I'm due to do Normandy myself. Taff and Darth Vegan are my favourite KZreadrs on IL-2, mind you Devin Horner is my all time fav hard core fighter legend with his strike fighters 2 series, got the game installed myself and I love it tons. Please don't misunderstand.. I really love Taff and Vegan's series a lot.. just wanted to say that D.H is my fav hard core flyer. Great to speak to you, really it is 👍

With that first landing i could of been mistaken for it being Australia. The kangeroo was strong with this one.
That was funny touching down at the wrong airfield and having to abort. Of course, you can always blame that on Jacques! After all, he is supposed to be the navigator and you just fly according to his instructions! I'm surprised there was no AAA batteries around that port you strafed. Don't the Jerries know there's a war on?
Cant replace Sebastian...but you can totally replace MRree in Uboat lol

I hate that AI loves to jettison all bombs and rocket pods the second they see an enemy closing on them. Bomber formations aborting the attack sucks when you want them to hold formation under fire
Yes, this cheap piece of desperate crap was so much better than any real fighter. It's made of wood.
