I KNOW he is correct as I have tried different diets and a vegetarian one made me gain 1 stone per year through additives and chemicals used by companies as "food substitutes". It is cheaper to use chemicals than real natural ingredients. For example, I now eat butter and not sunflower spread. I use olive oil and not vegetable oil, I also make everything myself. It tastes better and I have no chemicals.

@@darlenesnyder4083 Very misleading to label a diet proper, especially after the research that has come to light in the past two years. I have nothing to heal as I am educated on the subject through a degree in food science. I'm extremely healthy 😁 I feel for people who are falling in the short term trap of carnivore, due to the research released around blue zones around the world. People have and live to well over 100 with no major diseases whatsoever and are living very healthy and happy lives and the one thing in common is their diet. There are no animal products in their diets except fish. A decade long study came out of Harvard medical which outlined a 10-15 % increase in life span adhering to this diet compared to carnivore, vegan etc etc. Mediterranean diet was a clear logical choice for longevity and health. The major alarming fact that came out of the study was the link between red meat consumption and heart disease. I'm sure you've heard over the years of a recommendation of only eating a palm sized piece of red meat a week and we now know this is for good reason. The link between heart disease and red meat consumption is trimethylamine-N-oxide, a metabolite that your body produces when you consume red meat. If you consume the recommended size piece of meat once a week your body is able to keep the level of TMAO to a minimum and your body is able to rid of it by the time you eat red meat again in 7 days. If you are eating red meat more than this your are not giving your body a chance to keep TMAO levels safe and there the direct link to heart disease is found. I found through my research and time in the field that a lot of diets or fads make people feel great short term but unfortunately they suffer long term. Take care

There healthy foods but I didn’t look forward to eating them. people are not paying enough attention to the ingredients. Clean food for gym and fitness, polluted food breeds fat and have a lack of nutrients. Definitely rate this guy for his ability to spot marketing gimmicks and unhealthy elements in probably 90% of the food in the supermarket.

Carbs give you energy if you use that energy every day nothing will happen but there are people out there who eat plenty of carbs without working out. And they eat the bad carbs from fast food.

@@TheoOJamaloO1 Fat gives you energy too. Some fatty acids are essential, NO carbs are essential (including fruits & vegetables). If you eat both fats and carbs that can trigger the Randle cycle, basically the human body can't deal with 2 energy sources so the excess is stored as fat. I'll stick with fat for fuel, from animal foods which always come with protein and plenty of vitamins etc.

Yogurt can be deceptive with it's fat free and low fat selling point, because it can be high in sugars. You want to look at the brans especially Greek yogurt that has lower sugar content.
