less time focusing on cooking and eating. less energy used on digestion. it's great. the downside is I'm a bit weak while in a fasted state, it makes it hard to push heavy weights and hit PRs until after meal, also I tend to gorge on food when its meal time.. overeat which is bad.

As soon as you tell a work colleague or someone who’s older than you are fasting and you’re not eating any food in work, they tell you it’s so unhealthy, you shouldn’t do it. You need to eat five meals a day blah blah blah 😂😂😂 the world is brainwashed into eating and eating and eating while not understanding it’s only in very recent years humans have only been able to access food whenever they want. The majority of time humans have spent on this planet you couldn’t eat whenever you felt like eating, you would eat once a day for thousands of years, you didn’t have a choice and we have made it this far but they still think you’re supposed to eat five meals a day it’s crazy.

Most want to stay young looking, im grey headed, fit/ lean body type, and can work circles around younger 'looking' people. I also box semi professionally, and have been told I'm an old man with a young man's body. Either way. I'm not stuck on myself at all and simply try to eat right so I can live. Every day above ground is a good day. Even the worst day is only 24 hrs. God bless.

I have worked in construction since I was 15 years old. However, within the last 4-5 years I’ve packed on weight and am having a hard time loosing it. Can’t say I eat clean but not as sloppy as most who have gained it through bad food. Anyone have a reason? I agree with you, he is on the juice..but you can eat one meal a day and still get jacked naturally. He's right about slowing down your metabolism. You have to eat a big balanced meal in order to get the nutrients, so calorie counting (which he quickly dismissed when asked how much he consumes) does matter. You have to count the macros, so you don't over eat and hit your targets. I workout on a empty stomach, in the morning, get a protein shake in afterwards, drink water for the rest of the day at work, then I eat a big dinner after I get home from work. For my size I take in 200 grams of carbs, 160grams of protein and 40-50 grams of fat on average...For example I'll have a 2 baked salmon fillets, cut up chicken breast with riced cauliflower, broccoli with melted shredded gouda. I feel full so I don't eat again until the next day. It's not easy in the beginning but it gets easier as you do it. Get yourself a food scale and a free app to track your macros.

Fasting cleans out the body. Even a little fast, it just does not just have to water in the beginning. But once the body gets used of it, the fast becomes easier.

No way he's that big on one meal a day i do that currently and I lost 15 pounds and I'm slim and trim , not "jacked" but I'm very happy with my muscle tone ', I snack in nuts and my favorite small things here and there but indo agree with the 1 meal a day . I'm a meat eater and I make sure I get my protein in that's for sure, steak , burgers, chicken . The key phrase here is calorie deficit. It'll change your life. And make sure you work out in some form in a consistent schedule, that's key

I have tried it too for a week only. I would eat 15h00 or 16h00, and around 20h00 in the evening, i would take a couple of dried swedish bread with honey and butter till the next day again to eat a full dish of salads with 3 fried eggs and piece of meat, 3 sliced of organic bread. To my surprise, didn't lose weight during the period. When I told my friend, he told me that there is no difference in my appearance. He didn't believe it.

If you are interested in doing this, just do a four hour eating window that’s probably best. I don’t eat for about 18 to 19 hours a day, if you’re going to drink drink water in that fasting time frame and forget about calories, just eat decent Whole Foods, a good all round balanced diet and don’t get too much into the calorie stuff, and have a little treat after your last meal to if you have a sweet tooth. Don’t go to strict at the start.

I think you should eat more than once per day, but one of your meals can be focused on specific gaps in your nutrition, such as gut health, or foods that boost Nitric oxide levels. Eating more than once per day doesn't have to mean eating a cowboy steak or pound of chicken every time you eat.
