Cypher is literally using the dark angels as attack dogs

“I want to be like him when I get fucking murdered!” Is still one of the best lines from the series.

Sad fact: CCRockchic who provided the female voice for Cawl passed away in the intervening time, so when Cawl returned in Ep.30 pt.2 the va was not replace.

I love that line: "HOW DARE YOU, YOU COLOSSAL MECHANICAL NERD?! HE DOES NOT NEED PROVE, HE'S THE EMPEROR'S WORD!" Considering the amount of crap Kitten goes through. btw. the binari at 20:05 doesn't translate to "Fine". It means something like "I'll have you murdered!"

I'll tell you - pay attention to the guidance-servitor. They can only make a select amount of replies and noises, right? Consider that a servitor might be wishing that the Custodes do not die, even as it's controlled by the Mechanicus Lord. And should it know what lies ahead, "Make a U-Turn. Make a U-Turn." starts to sound a lot like "Turn back! Please, turn back!"

@@koraegi Especially because in the follow-up in Episode 30 part 2, GPs-Servitor announces its own imminent death and the Custodes' fate (as intended by the Mechanicus and Cawl at least) just seconds before the Grav-carrier is ambushed and shot out of the sky. "Arriving at destination: Die"

We're reaching the end of a great journey. It's been fun. Hope it will return and be as fun.

That was cawls reason for not taking it,In the book I read he said he could probably take the spot as fabricator general if he wanted to but it would result in unnecessary fighting while his only concern is the advancement of the imperium

Is it not so that many of the Mechanicus hate Cawl for him being into inventing and developing? And that is why he can't have the position?

Rogal having a security blanket from the Heresy novels, Rogal kept his Adopted grandpa from Iniwits cloak and sleepa with it on his bed. During the Siege, Sanguinius, The Khan and Malcador order him to take a break and get some rest. He has trouble sleeping and wanders the Palace in tunic with his blanket over his shoulders. He finds Interator Sindermann aboit to jump for the walls but stops him

It's likely that Cypher knew the Fabricator General was corrupt but the Angels wouldn't dare kill him due to their Mechanicus privileges were put on the line so he just motivated them by tossing the Dark Angels secret at the Fabricator General

It's my personal headcanon that when Magnus destroyed the tomb of the parallel he accidentally caused the End Times in Fantasy and kick started Age of Sigmar.

I have been excitedly waiting for you to reach this episode for months. This was the 1st episode of TTS I ever stumbled across and it turned me into an instant fan. Even without any knowledge of the previous episodes I still loved it, and it only got better when I watched the rest of the series.

"PUSH EM DADDY, PUSH ME ON THE SWIIIIING" gets me EVERY time

I remember hearing about Cipher in the Borealum Audio story on DVD, where he helps a group of Guardsmen against Cultists, in exchange for their silence

14:25 I believe a fabricator general is in charge of a forge world, but the Martian fabricator general being THE fabricator general of holy Mars then he’s pretty much the top dog of the mechanicus in spirituality, while also being a high lord of terra.

Generally the example given is the Imperium is like the western catholic church with a single figurehead pope with a synod of archbishops below him (ecchlisiarch and bishops), and the mechanicus is like the Eastern Orthodox church with many patriarchs, but has a de facto most i fluential chair in Constantinople (see mars)

The amount of times you preempt jokes makes me think you've gotten on the same wavelength as the writers

Hey! I haven't checked if these have been suggested before, but I'd like you to check Stringstorms warhammer music. He made the intro music to TTS and has full songs that are very lore heavy and interesting. My personal favourited are Atrocity (about Istvan III), Rylalanor's Last Stand (rock opera about a loyal Emperor's Children dreadnaught), HMKIDS - Death of Horus (cover, subject obvious) and Pretty Marines Song (interesting take on a meme chapter). Hope you have time/interest to check some of these out or his other songs, love your videos!

actually worst dad ever has to go too Angron, which before any Angron fans chime in, no that's not the Emperors fault. also, the Emperor isn't a bad father, hes just absent, and that's entirely their mothers fault and the sons flaws are entirely down to Chaos and their respective home worlds. I also hate how Alpha blueballed the Dark Angel's character development by instantly backtracking on such brilliant development
