I actually live in the old Welsh county of Dyfed and I must say they really failed to capture the terrible standard of living and bizarrely out of place rave culture that makes this place special. I think a game about a 16 year old nitrous oxide fiend from Camarthen getting lost in the Cambrian mountains after a 48 hour jungle sesh would be a lot more fantastical and interesting than whatever this is about.

Those are just indie games now, the state of AAA games is so bad that games we would've seen as mediocre or cringe years ago are seen as some of the best nowadays. Only requirement for a good game today is that it works on release and doesn't beg for more money

This game is a blast in co-op. But we don't really have enough co-op standard hack-and-slash affair.

My headcanon is that this is just a 3rd person shooter set in the Dragon Age universe. The elves basically look the same as they do in the Dragon Age franchise. The dark fantasy vibe fits perfectly too

I'm genuinely curious if Laura Bailey got so famous by just Nic Cage accepting literally anything she could get.

Me and my little sister actually played this together back in the day. Had alot of fun.

Honestly, the way the game handled his ending is good in my eyes: like it's not a press a button at the end of the adventure, rather it's multiple choices all accross the game and each there are actual gameplay impacts

I forgot crossbows and catapults existed. Brought back some good memories.

The joke about the door with a riddle and one answer made me shed a tear; from laughing hysterically, and from the fact our dm has now thrown 3 of those doors at us in our current campaign.

Dude this sent me on such a nostalgia trip. I completely forgot about this game until now but I played it years ago with my dad. It was one of the first games I ever played

I felt like I was the only one in the world that was excited for this game back in the day. I remember watchung the developer interview for it and anticipated for the launch. Fortunately, I thoroughly enjoyed the game. The banter between them was funny and being able to swap between two was a novelty concept back then.

Okay...The punchline for 2:07-2:15 is the funniest Bethesda joke I've ever heard. It is so true, it almost hurts. Of course Oboe would be the one to deliver such a joke.

I liked this game. I played it when I was a kid. Played it twice to see two endings.

I'd still rather play this than watch Critical role though tbh

Hey Oboe, this may sound like a meme but honestly you really should give the game a full playthrough off stream! The story is genuinely one of the best depictions of addiction I've seen in gaming, dealing not only with its affect on the characters but also its affects on people in the past and how the world got to the state it was in in the present. Also you can switch between caddoc and elana at will, and they each have their own playstyle and upgrades, there's a lot to like in the game.

I had it! I used my bionicle to battle each other though so parts would fall off or break. Eventually I ended up combining them (not the ‘official’ combo form) into a big two headed form. Used parts of Makuta to make it too!

I never played this game but I remember fucking G4 shows doing reviews on it when it released. They were all taken aback that the female character is the gruff badass and the male character is the shy thinker as if it was a masterclass in subversion.

I don't know why but whenever I think about this era of games when a studio had peanuts for a budget when games were getting much more expensive to develop and a publisher that told them to "Copy (popular game)" I'm kinda happy it happened despite us getting mostly games like this that you download a demo for on xbox live then forget it existed. I feel it inspired most indie developers to start work through spite. BTW I remember this one game El Shaddai I downloaded a demo for then forgot about. I feel it would be a good fit for Oboe.

You know what I miss. Demon stone. Truly. The Greatest generation of gaming. PS3 and Xb360. Cannot be beat. How tf is it even possible that to this Day those two consoles STILL have the Most games. And I do mean a literal legion of original stand alones. Not sequel # cod 9 million. 360 was pushing out a new game every week and even the stupidest content still had some pretty Epic features and endeavors. Because people still gave a Fuck. And at Least still had the freedom for devs to explore their creativity. I miss those days so bad.

Good game. Having and throwing a limited amount of healing potions to your ally was a fun alternative vs being able to carry 9,999 bottles like in most RPGs, and there were side quests and NPCs you could save or abandon. I had fun on multiple play throughs.

I am worried I have the same voice as Oboe shoes. He said "OK Google" and my phone was immediately sent to that voice command thing.
