i got to be honest here, but the game animations are better than skyrim's in comparison, in skyrim you can't even duck and cover, i mean you can duck, but it's useless most of the time unless your shooting with an bow and arrow on that first strike. but i still prefer the open world aspect to skyrim far more than this games linear story that is not open.

My favourite line of dialogue is "its not slutty! Its just strategically placed" when she talks about her armour

I always love when people who never a watched a single Marvel movie use this braindead meme. It shows just how smart you really are. No wonder you liked this game.

The game was published by Bethesda but was developed by inXile (Wasteland, The Bards Tale), cant say the writing was ever one of their strongest suits, but its serviceable.

The Wasteland games are pretty good but Bard’s tale was really funny.

The amount of times my best friend and I played this in Co-Op. Absolutely phenomenal times! It's less about the game, and more so the memories you make with it. Any game can be amazing to you personally, when it brings out something great.

​@@eldritchmorgasm4018a late reply - unfortunately, it's not available on PS4/5 and Xbox One/Series. it's available on Steam but with consoles, it's stuck on X360 and PS3 (disc only, no digital version). also, this game's servers were shut down long ago, so no online co-op (there is split screen option though).

We actually managed to make it through the whole game without ever touching that weird goo, so we got the best ending without even trying. Neither of us even knew you could drink it. Split-screen is the best way to play and I have fond memories of our adventures.

That's awesome. I'm waiting for a second copy to arrive in a few days and am going to system link this with my girlfriend - it'll be our first co-op and I specifically chose this after a long time looking. I have Xbox X and she has Gaystation something or other - so I went with 360 since I have 2. 😀👍

Me and a mate played this as a full co-op run in one or two sessions I think, we laughed our arsed off and the twist at the end! Hahaha!

I actually bought this way way back on Steam and have played through it twice. I remember liking the game overall but for some reason i never once bothered to notice that it was a Bethesda game lmao. Love that you covered it. Would love to see your take on Soulstice. A game that when i played it, just instinctevly gave me flashbacks to this game. Keep up the amazing content Kev, Much Love.

Soulstice is the Devil May Cry & God of War hybrid clone, that has the entire 20 years lifetime of the genre in it's DNA, in both the good and the bad. Top it up with it's design and story, being a lovechild between *_Berserk_* and *_Claymore_* and you got a very unique mix. Too bad not many people, see the potential it got going for it, or the devs not polishing the rough edges enough for it to fully shine. I personally would love to see a sequel in the future.

Man, now I really want Microsoft to remaster and release this game. This game is sickly great.

the best part is even in 2011 people were willing to go through hell for goth girls

Proudly in my collection. The dungeon building and then going through some intense dungeon you made, that was great fun that I haven’t seen anywhere else

I miss this era of gaming. So many great games in the ps3 era. Now the new gen consoles are Galway through there life cycle and only have like 5 new games.

Bruh i have some news for you, back in the 80's and early to mid 90's PC was widely regarded as inferior by all major game publishers, it very rarely received a decent console port, that era is also notorious for having a ton of crappy porn puzzle games.

I loved this game, played it split screen with the lady. It was great and there are multiple paths you can take with the story.

I actually still have this game, it wasn't to bad tbh.

Me and a friend played this shortly after it was released. I think we beat it rather quickly over one weekend. We did have a lot more time to pour into a gaming session back then though. Pretty sure we started a second playthrough swapping characters and deciding to make a different choice after seeing the twist. Good times. Pretty hokey dialogue by, I would say recent standards but the bar has been plummeting, but it really helped ramp up the playful competition to see who could get more kills each during each stage.

This was a game I played with friends 12 plus years ago and I still love it and we still play it nobody talks about it but it was hella fun

Thank you kev for bringing back this game,was honestly an amazing surprise to see this and your video also on wet,i have both games in my collection and they have been two of the best games for me in the xbox 360 gen,they were just AA titles that were fun as hell,for me hunted is the perfect couch coop,has a bit of a primitive looter game with the best mechanics of god of war,loved every puzzle,also the 3 different endings,and every side quest,the chemistry between both characters was also funny as hell for me. I felt so badass every time i triggered an executions and the sinergy between both characters' skills was also kind of basic but worked every time. At the back of the game cover it literally says "welcome to the moment where gears of war met world of warcraft"🤣. If i could choose a game to have a sequel on would definitely be this one. I find sad that Bethesda gave up one(maybe not the best) but a very funny and enjoyable coop with their own DNA.

This looks like it would have been fun to play. Sad I missed it. It’s really hard for me to go back and play older games.

I have a weakness for sexy elf girls in minimal leather getups so I guess this game was partly made for me.

I had a blast playing this game. I bought a used Xbox360 about 5 years ago and tracked down a bunch of dirt cheap games. My room mate and I had a great time co-op. We made kinda a drinking game out of it.

oh my fucking god, Just the other day i was trying so hard to remember what this game was called, and i spent like an hour googling games with bald guys and elves to no success.

Jesus that main menu. "Keep cranking up that bloom, the player will know which one they have selected because it will be unreadable compared to the rest."

It’s literally gears of war with oblivion assets. I love it.

I loved this game so much. My hands got really cramped because I didn’t know you could just hold down the shoot button

I thought this game was pretty decent, I played it with my brother when it came out. It was really sick as a co-op game, and the jokes between the two characters felt really natural eventhough the voiceacting work obviously isn't at modern levels.

I loved this game. I didn't like this video, but I still appreciate the fact that someone brought this up to public attention nowadays. This game would deserve a proper sequel, or a remake.

This game is surely one of my guilty pleasures. Found it back in the good old ps3 games i could rent, and the looting system just made me come back constantly. Be it solo or co-op, it was mindless fun, specially if you tried custom dungeons. And aside from obvious reasons, playing as Ellara is way more enjoyable, since she has access to a lot of different bows, both in damage and utility.

I remember being like 13 when i got the game. I specifically remember being... entertained by the character physics.

Kev played Hunted instead of the dumpster fire that is SF, this man continues to do Gods work.

Honestly the game isnt as bad as people make it out to be! Definitely not "good" by any measure but it has its charm and I could definitely see it having a cult following!

Uuuuuh, I loved it at launch. Also loved The Bard's Tale from the same devs. You would have a lot of fun with Lord of the rings: War in the north, came out the same year.

If you have VR, I highly recommend The Mage's Tale, which definitely remembers its origins in The Bard's Tale. Imagine an oldschool dungeon crawler PC game (Like, early Ultima games old) but in VR with modern graphics. Very fun.

And it's wild to think that game was basically a prototype for Dead By Daylight (same developer too).

I completed this game with a friend from school and remember having a total blast. Only have positive memories of it tbh. I remember I was always the one that drank the slog cus it helped big time but resulted in a bad ending where the main dude becomes evil from his reliance on it.

Thine colourblind eyes find it so hard to distinguish between all the apparent different shades of grey or brown in this game.

What annoyed me about this game wasn't even something that the game itself did -- I used to love an old, old IBM game called Demon's Forge, and when this game came out, it was almost impossible to find anything pertaining to that old classic

Now play Clive Barker's Jericho. Idc what anyone says, that was a game.

My brother and I played this game on and off but each time putting hours into this everytime. We never beat it. Mostly because we kept Screaming E'LARRAA OR CADDOC at each other. Even now in public spaces across the room we will do it. No one gets it, except for us. Good times

I loved this game but towards the end I encountered a glitch that made it unbeatable. Something about I couldn’t kill someone cause my hits wouldn’t register, and a reload didn’t help. Stellar game and mechanics though imo.

The level design reminds me alot of the Eragon Game with the vow aswell doesn't help, whenever he got that quickahot off and said how did I do that my brain automatically said "Brisingr"

Damn, you should try Viking: Battle for Asgard next

The xbox 360 has many games like this that were made good by couch coop. Its a shame developers are focusing on online multiplayer too much to bother with couch coop now

It truly was the game that you played when you were fiending for new Bethesda games. One of those game I never got rid of but truly will never play again. One play-through honestly felt enough for one lifetime.

wow, we can all see that just before skyrim that they did not have the bow play down yet AT ALL or npc AI...

Oh man, this takes me back. The 2010's was prime "epic girl armor" era. It's about one step below that time Hideo Kojima made a girl who's powers relied on her literally shutting up and getting naked. 😂

Not gonna lie. Kinda neat to see a Gears of War clone, in a setting other than "modern day city with pew pew guns". Though, also can't lie about being a tad disappointed. I was kinda hoping this would be some lesser known Bethesda game that plays exactly like Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and Starfield. I don't have a great attention span, so playing longer story-driven games ain't easy for me. But Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and Starfield can hold my attention for hours, where I just dick around, explore, loot, and build (depending on the game). Was kinda hoping I'd find another game that could really keep me busy.

This game reminds me of dragons dogma where its experimental directionless mess but unlike dragons dogma in which the game part is good and the mess part is fine art this game just looks ride to hell in high fantasy kind of bad with less bugs somehow lol.
