Growing up, I just assumed that my Dad was bossy and controlling. Any complaints we had about his behavior, he'd just say, "Bullsh*t! My Father was a lot tougher on me than I am on you kids!" Now that I'm older, wiser, and have videos like this to help, I see that my Dad was an absolute narcissist. He has been dead now for quite a few years. But even when I was 50 years old and he was 90, he was still trying to bully me, name call, and insult my lifestyle. Toxic doesn't even cover it.

Hello Joe, I'm so glad to see you back on KZread I love this kind of content ! Also, I read your book 3 times "What every body is saying", I'm a "natural reader", I always been able to read people since i'm a teenager as far I can remember, I thought everybody could do that, it was in my early twenties I realize it's kind of a rare skill (thanks to my best friend who told me regular people cannot see what I see), I wanted personnally to say thank you for your work, you helped me a lot to understand it, having a good interpretation, context, establish a baseline, like making a blade shaper I still have a lot to learn, It help me a lot in my life, but most importantly, to help other people, especially those who hide a depression or a sadness, as an empath, it's really important to me to bring something bright to them even if it's a little bit I wish you the best !

see the KZread channel of DoctorRamani, a psychologist who counsels people on the west side of Los Angeles, where there are many people who are narcissists. She specializes in helping people to understand narcissism and to recover from the pain of having been in a relationship with one or more (a parent, a wife or husband, a boss). She helps people understand why they are susceptible to narcissists (are easily spotted by them) so that they know how to resist trying to rescue the narcissists and how to spot one when you meet them. We cannot change them. The only effective defense against them is “no contact.” But if we are stuck with having to deal with them because of broader family obligations or our career, for example, then she offers techniques for coping with them (“gray rock” is one). Watching her channel gave me a lot of healing, courage, and clarity about these manipulative people. One narcissistic relative is being extremely manipulative right now and she has no idea her manipulation is completely ineffective now. I’m free! Good luck.

This sounds like my sister, she could play the victim when it suited her , to get what she wants, to get me in trouble for something I never did/done. She could cry tears at the snap of your fingers then , turn to me with a smug smile once she had achived what she wanted , it was like she was alwats playing a chess game, carefully waiting watching planning to make her move. Could there be a Narcissist the displays all the different Narcissistic traits. Fragile/covert , malignant, +

Good question I will be talking about that in future episodes. In fact many times narcissism can be comorbid with the emotionally unstable (Borderline or Histrionic personality) and that really complicates life for those around them. I wish you well.
