Another example is my family and the people I interact with, all of them, have been lying to me everyday for my entire life. I believed every word everyone says. Even though things didn’t make sense and I had suspicions, my desire to believe that people are inheritly good, made me disregard the truth. So my belief, what I wanted to believe was true, made me disregard all evidence that stated otherwise. Even though the evidence was overwhelmingly against my belief. I ignored it. Because I didn’t want to believe it.

To anyone who sees this, Jesus loves you and came to earth as fully man and fully God and died on a cross as the perfect sacrifice to save you from your sin! Then he rose on the 3rd day to conquer death and sin! He wants you to believe in Him, admit you’re a sinner and repent of your sins, ask for God’s forgiveness and accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior!

Jesus was "fully God" ? .... So you should have no trouble showing us were in the bible just even ONCE, Jesus ever explicitly claimed to be God or asked the people to worship him as God.. When you fail to find that 1 verse, consider the fact that if Jesus was "fully man and fully God" on earth, when he prayed to God (himself apparently) in the garden of Gethsemane, supplicating 'O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt' [Mathew 26 : 39] and was still apparently killed on the cross after failing to answer his own prayer, was that the will of God being fulfilled on earth as He willed ?, which if so, He should have been pleased with, or was that God being overpowered and unable to support and protect himself ?. Also if Jesus (or God) prophesied: "As Jonah was in the belly of the whale for 3 days and 3 nights, the son of man will be in the heart of the earth for 3 days and 3 nights" [Mathew 12 : 40], Then why did Jesus (God) apparently die on Friday before the Sabbath/passover - [Mark 15 : 40, Luke 23 : 55-56] before then rising on "the first day of the week" [Mark 16 : 9] which is a Sunday, making it only 2 days and 3 nights, contradicting the initial prophecy of "3 days and 3 nights" regardless of whether these days are counted using our modern 12am system or the Jewish time system in which the new day begins at sunset ?.. Also was Jonah alive in the belly of the whale or dead ?. Since you took the time to type your comment, I assume you are a sincere seeker of the truth. I invite you to look into the authenticity of the Bible (even were this term, 'Bible' began as this term is never even used once in the 'Bible') .. The authors of the Bible are unknown, with many Christians falsely believing that Mathew, Mark, Luke etc are the actual disciples when in fact these authors never even met Jesus. In fact the earliest manuscripts of the 'New Testament' are in Greek, now considering that Jesus & his disciples spoke Aramaic, does that really make sense ?.. The true word of God must be perfect, free from any errors or contradictions. Even just 1 irrefutable error or contradiction within any text claiming to be divine or the word of God proves that it is not the true, unchanged, perfect word of God and I have just pointed out a few for you, from the hundreds within the Bible. If you are open to healthy dialogue, I am happy to discuss this further with you and to share with you why Islam is the truth. Take care =)

@@ruqyahservices5369 John 14:9-11 specifically says “Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.” Jesus is God because He is part of the Trinity, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in one. And there is only one God. And when it comes to Jesus being crucified and asking the Father to remove this cup from Him, He was living out who He claimed to be, fully God and fully man. In Matthew, Jesus taught us how to pray, the Bible says this is how it should be done, “9 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. 13 And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. [a]For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. So when He prayed, He was praying to the Father, but He and the Holy Spirit also heard the prayer because all 3 are one and all are part of the same God. Jesus didn’t just come to save us, He came to relate to us too. That’s the beauty of our God. He took on human flesh to relate to what I experience everyday. Since Jesus was fully man as well as fully God, He was able to experience everything a human can experience. That’s why He prayed to have His cup removed from Him, because He was experiencing human fear for what was about to happen to Him. But the Father didn’t answer His prayer because Jesus had to fulfill the prophecy. He had to be crucified and die to save the world from sin. And it had to be Jesus that dies because He wasn’t just fully human, He was fully God. Before Jesus’ death, an animal, often a lamb would have to be sacrificed for the TEMPORARY forgiveness of sin. And the lamb had to be spotless, perfect, without blemish. But that forgiveness wasn’t eternal. Because Jesus was fully human and fully God, He was able to live the sinless life we couldn’t and die the death we should have to save us from our sins. Regarding your comments on how long He was in the tomb, you’re thinking of this with a western time mentality, but to first century Jews, part of a day counted as a day. So since Jesus was buried on a Friday, was in the tomb all Saturday, and resurrected early in the morning on Sunday, to first century Jews that would be 3 days.

@@lilymartin5409 Thanks for taking the time to reply. Im sorry though as perhaps you misread my question. I asked to be shown where Jesus explicitly claimed to be GOD, and to be worshipped, not some ambiguous text which requires commentary and interpretation to arrive at the conclusion you just did (I mean Jehovas Witness read the same Bible and verse you mentioned yet do not understand that verse to mean such). If salvation can only come through accepting Jesus (peace be upon him) as GOD, then surely there is explicit text to prove this and not only ambiguous text.. Think about it, if I asked you to prove from the Bible that angels are real, or that Adam and Eve were real, or that Mary was a virgin etc, you can easily bring me explicit, clear cut verses which state this without any shadow of a doubt, yet when it comes to the pinnacle belief of Christianity, the only proofs that Jesus is God are merely ambiguous verses which rely upon heavy commentary and interpretation.. As for the Lords prayer, this is in fact a proof against yourself and modern Christianity. The disciples approached Jesus wanting to learn how to pray. Was this not the perfect chance for Jesus to teach them that he was God and that they must worship him ?.. No. Rather we find Jesus teaching them how to worship God alone without any partners just like every other prophet and messenger. 'OUR father in heaven, hallowed be YOUR name, YOUR kingdom will come....' I was really hoping you would help me understand why the earliest manuscripts of the New Testament are not in the language which Jesus and his disciples spoke but in Greek, and since you mentioned John, could you please let me know who the author of the book of John was with proofs please ?.. Thanks again.

@@ruqyahservices5369 I’m still doing my research on the language part because I haven’t studied it in a while, so that will take some time to get you an answer on. I recommend reading the whole chapter, (you can find it on Biblegateway.com) but in John 10:30 Jesus says, “I and my Father are one.” This confirms Jesus deity as the Son of God aka God in human form. And the Lord’s Prayer is not proof against Jesus being God, but explaining God’s setup and how we should pray. It is impossible to pray to only one part of the Trinity because God is 3 in 1. See, when sin entered the world through Adam and Eve it separated us from the Father. Jesus is our mediator between us and the Father. When He died He restored us to the Father by allowing us to pray to Him without needing an animal sacrifice to come to Him. The ultimate sacrifice had already been made through Jesus because He was perfect. And the only way He was perfect and lived a perfect life is because He was fully man and fully God. God requires perfection because He’a perfect, and to save us from the eternal punishment of sin, someone had to live the perfect life we couldn’t live and die in our place. The only one who could do that is God because God is the only one who is perfect. So He took on flesh and did that for us because He loves us! Just because Jesus taught us to pray to the Father doesn’t mean that Jesus and the Holy Spirit don’t also hear our prayers. God just wanted to give us a solid example for how to pray. This is when we have to exercise faith and trust that what we have been told is the truth. And I will go to my grave declaring Jesus is the Son of God, the one true God.

@@ruqyahservices5369 In John 14:6 Jesus also says “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” This wasn’t denouncing Jesus deity of being God, but rather confirming the idea that the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are one. You can’t have one without the other. Also in John 1:1 it states, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” This would indicate that Jesus is the Word that the world needed to hear and that He was God. And in Greek “word” is “logos” which means “divine expression”. The divine expression of God would be in the form of Jesus. Which means God expressed Himself on the planet as Jesus. And regarding your claim that there is no hard core proof of Christianity, I have to politely disagree with you. The Dead Sea scrolls were found in 1947 confirming Christianity, ancient Egyptian artifacts have been found at the bottom of the Red Sea, which confirms the story in Exodus where God parted the Red Sea to allow Moses and the Israelites to escape enslavement by the Egyptians, and I can tell you right now, if Jesus wasn’t God and didn’t raise from the dead, there would still be a body in the remains of the tomb in Jerusalem, and there is no body to be found. Hallelujah! Jesus is in Heaven right now and He will return one day to get all of those who put their trust and faith in Him! In 1 Corinthians 15:3-8, Paul tells us, “For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He was seen by [a]Cephas, then by the twelve. 6 After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have [b]fallen asleep. 7 After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. 8 Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time.” Over 500 people witnessed Jesus after His resurrection! 500! If that death and resurrection wasn’t significant, that many people wouldn’t have witnessed it.
