Probably due to the “TikTokification of music”. Plus, with social media, almost anyone can quickly become a musician…but it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re truly talented, creative, or artistic and have staying power. Honest has talked about how “artist development” from labels is a thing of the past, so they’re just raw dogging their career. And these musicians don’t have to work their way up anymore, so they don’t even build connections that would facilitate working w/ the folks behind the scenes (i.e. producers, engineers, & songwriters)

The issue with Megan is that people are not willing to listen to her. I think this one was clear as day.. tbe symbolism shows. There’s a reason why she’s wearing the “Annie” wig because her label is “daddy warbux” and payola’d the shit out of her name then ran to buy slots in the instagram meme pages to make it look somewhat “genuine” Basically her label has paid out heaps for her and when cash like that is spent, they expect her to generate a lot more commas. I won’t be surprised if In a few years she’s fighting her way out of a 360 deal. Seems very much so with how much the label spends on her. She’s the epitone of a sellout, a plant and it shows because we as the public can see she’s way too media trained, never had to grind to the top more and claimed she started writing a year before her song not only charted but was in the top 10 globally “competing” with other artists with massive fan pages. If the math ain’t mathing then maybe the answer is clear as mud. Beyond manufactured to the point we as the public don’t trust her. Hence the huge backlash and I mean does anyone ACTUALLY care about her outside of bots? Nope!

The way this works is if someone sells out then they must show they have sold out in symbolism. She wears an “Annie” wig because she is Annie, the label is daddy warbux and I BET she’s signed a horrible 360 deal. She’s signed as a plant underneath miss minaj hence why Taylor suddenly decided she would publicly say “I LOVE this ice spice song!” To generate sheep mentality. It’s the exact same business move she made when she said “OMG I love this song called super bass” then followed on by never talking about rap music again until now or even a feature for that matter. I bet TS owns a % of her masters for her to promote a new artist on such a huge scale. This is business to them and TS is the best at it and demonizing those she doesn’t like. She’s calculated right down to her friends not being problematic so she’s not in the tabloids.
