And now you have XG which, and bare with me, a Japanese girlgroup based in Korea who are always singing or rapping in English. And they are fire! Wish we had more of that from the US nowadays

I do think this was a good synopsis, but you didn’t have to show the videos of her not sober. It’s very disrespectful.

Yeah this rebrand is crazyyy. I watched GMW growing up (mainly cause of BMW) so I always knew about her music. Never listened to them cause I assumed her songs were gonna follow that Disney route. Then out of nowhere, tiktoks of her Nonsense outros show up in my fyp and she was wildin outt with those so I had to listen to her new "sound" for lack of a better term. Nonsense & Espresso are the only songs I resonate with cause they fall more into the pop r&b sound compared to the rest of her discography imo. I hope she releases more of that sound but overall, I'm happy she's finally getting the recognition she deserves.

You all pick the weirdest things to be mad about. All cultures borrow from and imitate one another and all music is inspired by previous artists or eras. There is no “stealing” go on because no one owns the rights to a particular form of self-expression, behavior or style. If anything, you should be flattered that people like your culture so much that they want to emulate it in any form. It’s her body and she can do whatever she wants with it.

She's literally said she makes uncomplicated music that's easy to understand. I don't think she's saying that to imply she's just choosing to not make more interesting complicated music and lyrics, I think she is making what she's only capable of.

This creates drama that isn't there. The line in Taylor's Clara Bow song is about Clara and how Taylor relates to her as a woman. I wish people could listen to Taylor without dissecting every verse.

I accidentally discovered her from radio disney music award back in 2016-17 i guess, when i voted , then i saw her got nominated for "cant blame a girl for trying" , i was like who is this pretty girl?! Then i started looking more info about her, and i stick to her music since EVOLution albums, my favs are RUN AND HIDE and THUMBS , i was like how is she not big yet?! She deserved it! I'm glad she left the disney label Hollywood recs because i feel like her career stuck under that label , i knew that her debut with Island recs arent that smooth with "skin" "skinny dipping" and "fast times" because olivia rodrigo made her look bad in public eyes, but i admire sabrina's consistency, she deserved her flowers after 5 damn albums! And i hope for her longevity with her career , she deserve more!!

I see all the comments and they aren’t wrong but be honest - if someone puts out good music, really good music then everything else seems to be forgotten. you can’t deny quality when you hear it even if an artist really doesn’t have a lot of vocal talent and even if a song isn’t deep or personal. This comes down to the fact the music just isn’t good enough.

I don't understand why people these days assume pop songs are all aimed at specific real-life people. Can't they just be songs? I mean, nobody hears "Paint It, Black" and thinks "That must be about that costume designer Mick Jagger dated from June of 1960 to September of 1961".

I stopped watching at "Charlie Puth is just not a good artist". Not a fan of Charlie. Not a fan of israel either. But boy you have no idea when you said that this guy is not a good artist. The fact that you don't know that just proves taylor swift is right. (and no im not a swifty too)

Hey, this was an AWESOME video! I'm a massive Lana fan and I agreed with everything you said. In fact, I even found myself thinking something similar. While I was listening to some of the singing she does on her latest album, particularly the albums namesake but also Kintsugi, and I was just like "holy shit this is amazing her growth is incredible" and yeah I was a massive fan of ultraviolence. It's actually the album that hooked me into her. But this latest album just blew me outta the water in so many ways, listening to her old stuff is still great. But Holy shit what she did on TATUOB, can't compare it.
