Gotta ask as a newbie, this Ibanez or an Epi SG with p90s for this type of music? Or neither and I'm not looking at the right stuff. Look to spend 500 or less. Really good sound and playing,.....Really good.

The Epiphone is also realy nice! For real rock staff i think the epiphone is pretty good because its a solid body ....booth are great anyway-;)

The AS53 works very good also for louder types of Music.I had an Epiphone SG with Humbuckers once for a while.It fitted also perfectly into this style.Now I have the AS53 and can't stop playing it.A very good Guitar to an affordable price.🎶👍🏻
