One smut-ish manga I would recommend is sweat and soap, the relationship between the main women and man is super sweet and the romance actually progresses. The main girl works at the home office of a soap and bodycare company, and loves the products due to the fact she has always had a problem with sweating so much. The main guy creates products for the company and has a very sensitive nose, and one day ran into the main girl and fell in love with her scent when she’s happy, (turns out dude had a sweat fetish, but I promise it’s not portrayed awkwardly it’s a reoccurring joke more so) and wants her to be his muse for his upcoming project.

I thought he had a sniffing fetish, well another excuse to read the manga again😊😊. But yeah, I highly recommend this title, the romance is sweet, but the characterization is just stellar. Two adults in a relationship, where open and honest communication is heavily emphasized, is just *chef's kiss*😊😊

As a girl I can totally relate to wanting to see more perspectives. I think it makes the act a lot more appealing when you can have more substance and not just them doing it to do it. I’ve read that one in the past and loved it. It’s nice to see that it’s getting more recognition

OH. “What it Means to be You” was SO frustrating to read in the first half. I just absolutely despised the ML, but I’m at the part where he’s depressed and tries to rectify his actions and now I just pity him. The whole thing is pure angst and I love it. I love angsty manhwas, but they’re not good for my heart.

But I've checked the previews for the Japanese version and there are a lot more chapters if not completed already so I'm glad it wasn't just cancelled. As a guy, I find those boring... A good smut provides more enjoyment by reading the next chapter, than "admiring" the current one, if you know what I mean.

A day late; however, I've been thinking for some time that such an "issue" is more medium related more than anything. Considering a few things such as: that even female manga-ka, etc., make primarily what would be consider _male_ oriented work in that it is largely visual; that the "romance" novel genre is nearly entirely dominated by what would be considered _female_ oriented work in both being literary. Some might consider effects; however, I would argue against that because those who would want those effects don't so much also cross visual/literary, and those who cross visual/literary medium don't so often cross effects or at least want oriented effects. (Effects being interests/interactions/etc.) I think this aligns... And I'm certainly leaving some thoughts out to get this short description and not trying to get into it too long. Anyways, speaking of that one recommendation with Syd talking about the long hair... Makes me think that most/all things that would get tagged as "male-bitch" are specifically BL as implied by the tag (regardless of roles), but similar "pretty males" tend to also get tagged in that manner. Syd though providing service finding and sharing such recommendations. They're not easily found because it's not really a consideration for sorting or as a database point -- in part to being hard to quantify with large swing of subjectivity if you try.
