i had this same problem where i couldn't come from c1 from gc because gc was a hard rank style to get and i peak c2 but mostly on those things i can watch those part to part to see if i can get gc. Thank you Luke Your amazing for something you make a video :)

ive noticed the higher ranked players play more toward mechanics and slower based which i call style points for wannabe players with 0 skill. too busy trying to look good while going for ariel shots or off the wall shots or rebound shots or pinch shots that a sweat has been given enough time to read the ball and whole situation to counter it easily.

On a fresh smurf, insane mmr gains, already peaked gc3, everyone knows who you are. "undercover" "its not luck"

Although this is a good video it doesn't prove anything. You have the skills and mechanics to read the play, rotate, and react and not hesitate that Champs most champs don't have. That takes a lot of in game time to develop. You should take a Champ player to GC sort of like what Cbell is trying to do. All and all keep up the good work I'm just being picky. Your videos do help alot of people out there.

Everybody has luck though. And good days and bad days. Everyone plays, and each individual plays and everything averages out to a rank. If you really think it's just luck, you're cheating yourself out of getting better at the game.

Bruh I’m hovering between c2 and c1 right now I score double taps, air dribbles, flip resets pretty much every game and so does a high percentage of other people in this rank, what makes champ so hard especially solo queue imo is the inconsistency of teammates, I can have someone faster, more mechanical, and smarter than my last teammate but still lose a game cuz I’m used to picking up the slack of my last teammate it’s so frustrating

He's not limiting his mechanics based on his rank. He is limiting them based on mechanics he has seen done by other players. He's "unlocking" them by seeing them. That's why his name is "FastestLearner"

@@billiardsfun7862 the worst players are ball chasers. they are literally the ones that are so dogshite that they hit the ball up back into the corner of their own goal then place it directly in a perfect shot for the opponents to shoot at the goal instead of actually clearing it over the goal or the more obvious, not bringing it back to the net in the 1st place.

Champ 2s are able to hit double taps all the time nowadays, why can’t you do that?

or the fact that theres gcs that get deranked and are playing with champs

Very true. Its easy to see others mistakes when watching them from outside the play, but hard to see your own mistakes while your making them. Thats why its good to watch replays because you see yourself from a third party perspective. I guarantee Luke still makes some of these mistakes but just does them less than a typical champ player.

eu players dominate the rocket league skill gap thats why. it tends to be players from the uk that tend to be the best. then its a few countries in the east which are eu countries and the rest are wannabes who use the same copy paste playstyles which are easily readable and have no skill to use.

If you’re already GC then yes you’ll have a different opinion especially if all you do is grind this game. There’s many different ways to achieve the same outcome he’s showing his vision and what helped him. If it helps you great if not move to the next. Everyone just hating on him because he was able to be successful in ways that others weren’t even those way better than him at the game.
