I am American with an English mother. I was born the same year as Princess Anne. My mom and grandmother took me back to England several times. I have always, as an American, admired and loved the RF. That is the best description of an who Meghan really is I have heard. You are nothing to her. She may have had a conversation with you but she is not really interacting with you. So glad you brought it up. The book was put together long before she got involved. The women themselves thought up the idea because they needed funds to extend their kitchen time for more than the three days they were allocated. When it was completed, she showed up for her usual 10 minutes, donned an apron, had pictures taken, signed the book and off she went. Probably to put her feet up, another slug of Bourbon and thought, “ my that was a busy day”.

If the stories I’ve read are true ( stories that were maybe in Tom Bower’s book “Revenge, I believe): that behind the scenes, that Harry was really frustrated and angry at Meghan’s demanding, cruel treatment of people during their Australia/New Zealand/Fiji trip and that it really upset him, then I wonder if that might have added to Harry’s anger at the press as he knew news of Meghan’s misbehavior would in all likelihood eventually leak out. Harry talks of other members of the royal family being “stuck” in their destiny. Perhaps Harry was just beginning to realize as Meghan’s true nature revealed itself that he, too, was now also “stuck” in a way by his choosing to marry Meghan. No wonder he was crabby.

I'm a New Zealander and when Markle was here it was pretty obvious what she was. We saw the microphone hogging, the getting in front of Harry and we felt that her unnatural uber confidence and insisting on giving speeches was a big red flag. Prince William met with the Red Cross that day and they organized a Skype or Zoom with people suffering in Gaza. What else could he say? He started off the statement absolutely respecting Israel by discussing the October 7th attacks and the remaining hostages. That statement is about as vanilla as Miss Americas hoping for world peace. And that’s not a criticism. Hoping for a return of hostages, a ceasefire, aide to suffering humans, and peace is not political. It is human.

I doubt the Grenfell cookbook was Meghan’s idea. Even if she suggested it, she stole that idea from some other situation. All of her ideas are copies of things other people have already done.

I did watch their wedding, but questioned a few things like Dorito being her only family member there, WHYYYYY she walked half way down the aisle by herself, and why her hair looked like she'd just rolled out of bed. Harry has done that before. He was in the Abbey and starring daggers at the media. One camera kept zooming in and out and Harry was visibly mad. He gave them what they wanted - an unhappy man-child.

Harry has psychological issues, it's clear. Meghan crossed paths with Harry and exploited those issues, letting Harry think he's "in love" with her. Now, years later and with two kids while in "exile", Harry has dug a deep hole for himself. Yes, he's unhappy and his issues remain.

The founding fathers of our country REJECTED the old English monarch with its very bad history and the majority of us Americans REJECT it as well.
