Harry & Meghan's charity drama has got them a lot of very bad publicity which they could do without
MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry’s charity row has descended into a blame game with sources close to the couple insisting US officials did not process their cheque.
The royal couple’s Archewell Foundation was served a delinquency notice after apparently failing to submit records - and pay a bill.
They were at the centre of yet another controversy after it was revealed their charity had been ordered to stop donations.
But Sussex sources today claimed the notice was actually issued because officials at California Attorney General Rob Bonta's office did not process the $200 (£160) cheque.
This small fee was to pay for their annual registration bill, as reported by the MailOnline.
The source added how their tax filings were submitted in full, in accordance with all regulations, and were widely reported in the media in December.

Wait for the NETFLIX video version to be aired, or beforehand, the US Weekly glossy Cover publications etc., where it will be hailed as a big success for Meghan and tens of millions of Americans are going to be awe inspired at her International diplomatic "presence", total classiness and capabilities. It's all pure 100% BS, but it will be believed by 99.999%, which is rather concerning. The Nigerian women's panel will be air-brushed out of history.
I hope this will actually trigger the IRS audit that is needed against the supposed charity. Because I believe through their production and everything else this is an actual business and not a charity.

Actually that is not quite accurate. While Twit n’Tramp did pay for some positive social media stories, there are far more stories and videos which show how angry most Nigerians are at the grifters. These videos also show how utterly inappropriate Harry’s wife acted in both dress and rude behaviours. A Nigerian human rights coalition has already filed a demand for an inquiry into exactly how much money the Nigerian government paid to the grifters. This was a grifting holiday meant to garner footage for the Harkles scheme to continue to defraud the world.
And also, what about the Nigerian Civil Rights Group, HURIWA, who are demanding the Nigerian Government for transparency on the couple’s "holiday". They point out that the British Government made a statement that Hairsprayed and wife were NOT representing the British Government or Royal Family in any capacity but were afforded many diplomatic privileges that should not go to regular public citizens, or be paid for by the citizens of Nigeria.
Their downfall is delicious schadenfreude. I am disgusted at her disrespect to the Nigerians.

Cheque? Cheque? Don’t they have the ability to pay electronically??? Don’t they have staff to diary reminders? …. And if you ACTUALLY scrutinise the evidence you will not consider the state of anything the duo have been involved in since leaving the royal family (including Invictus) to be “impressive” in any shape or form. The paucity of research in this piece is truly lamentable. But, at least he has the courage to address the issue. Most mainstream media channels do not do so at all. And apropos Invictus, Harry is NOT the initiator of Invictus, he has nothing to be proud of. Yet another example of him grifting off the back of others - a joint effort by the royal family and retainers, together with initial funding coming from the Royal Foundation (set up by Prince William and Princess Catherine) and with a further £1 million donation from Prince William from the settlement he received over the phone hacking case. To my mind, if there is anything that needs urgent attention it is the black mark that is AFRICAN PARKS ! Not only the Baka people of the Republic of Congo but indigenous peoples in Zambia have raised serious allegations that Harry has basically turned his back on …. Despite bragging on the couple’s website about how “proud” he is of his supportive work as president and board member! And let us not forget that African Parks is operating in some 12 African countries… what will be found if anyone bothers to scratch beneath the surface? As Shakespeare had Hamlet say, “something is rotten in the state of Denmark” … I think that if we replace “Denmark” with “ Harry and Meghan’s business dealings” we would be very near the mark indeed.

IMO - The title Californian Delinquents suits H&M perfectly.
Unfortunately, as a past accountant, a lot of companies play this game where they will send in the form and no check or a check or no form. The check was only for $250 based upon the $2 million that they had in bank. I think they’re holding us up because the form itself would’ve shown their income and the expenses paid out. Any CFO would have made sure that the form and check were photographed and copied stapled together and sent together. With all identification numbers present on the check.

I hate to point this out but all of the commenters are also complicit in this. These channels post these stories and they get clicks and engagement metrics that boost their dollars. It doesn’t matter if we like or don’t like. I’m guilty of feeding this, too. The best thing we can do is stop responding to the media and THEN they’ll stop covering these two scam artists.

They "mail" their checks?? Basically, they have ONE JOB, Archewell (which is a shell game). However, they are bored with that and can't focus. Instead they are all over the map chasing clout.

Harry would not know what a bank reconciliation is. His life was spent with everything being done for him.
Neither of the Grifters are 'detail' people - the documents and fees are 12 months late...not 'a few days' and they were warned back in January 2023 to get it done ! However, any charity worth its' salt (any any small company) should always keep an eye on cash flow - not a hard job it's just simple bookkeeping. Perhaps they'll send the AG some Jam !

I don't think it was mentioned in Nigeria, although they kept on about it we didn't see them talking to the appropriate people. We didn't hear anything. There was no visual evidence of discussions going on. I think we've had the pulled over our eyes.

if the forms arrived why was the cheque not sent with them, why would a cheque be sent in a separate envelope, why didnt they send it by bank transfer if this delinquency notice was for 2022, what about 2023 and 2024, have the filings for these years been made by a lost cheque in the post as well, and if the ones for 2022 are wrong then does the same apply to the other years
I will always remember Megan's fundraising technique when she memorably declared: "Send us your money and we'll make sure it gets to the right places." No details, no plan, no indication of how the money would be used.

I totally agree. No one overlooks a filing of any corp, entity, or non profit required by every State. Even if your entity forgets to pay the "small State required fee, of 100 dollars or so, your CPA would catch it prior to filing your Federal Tax Returns. There was mention that this was from 2022. This may trigger an IRS Audit and this may explode for the Grifters.
