Yeah crazy how he generates that much destructive power when he's seemingly not even breaking a sweat. He didn't load up with anything last night & when callum sat on the stool in the corner at like round 3 or 4 u could see how much his face was breaking up! He seems to just touch opponents & has them wobbled & face marking up. Can u imagine what would happen if he actually loaded deontay wilder'esk style & caught someone with a clean shot 😲 tbh in boxing I'd normally favour the boxer over the puncher.. I'd say bivol is slightly the better boxer of the 2 but like Matthew macklin said last night bivol simply won't have the power to keep this man off him. Bivol can try & box & move but over yhe course of 12 rds this man will get to him especially if it's a ring the same size as last nights. For bivol to win he'd need the biggest size of ring possible & even then he will eventually slow down & beterbiev gets to him i believe.

Na I said Smith had a chance if Artur got old overnight, with the surgery and the fact he’s 39, the upset wouldn’t have surprised me. But he looked stronger than ever, mauled him every single round, some fighter 🥊

Smith boxing strategy is wrong don't know why he doesn't use his reach to keep safe from shots, maybe poor footwork but credit to beterbiev he's a warrior. My boy bivol will do a fantastic job on him

Exactly my friend. Beterbiev is gonna walk through bivol. Bivol has footwork, but in my opinion, beterbiev has a better jab and we don't even need to mention the power. Beterbiev statistically is more accurate with his jab than bivol and for Artur, the jab is a power punch. Bivol won't be able to stay away from the power with beterbiev softening him up with jabs and walking through bivols punches.

Brilliant performance that. Was expecting a really close tough fight but he never looked in danger. Great at applying pressure and that power is too much for anyone in LH div. Smith thought he was on the slide but no evidence on that showing

To suggest that Beterbiev will walk right through him is completely and utterly doubtful. He also has a great chin. He will keep Beterbiev at range for the entirety of the fight with his world class jab.

People so underestimate Beterbiev’s boxing skills / ring craft… I don’t think Bivol will be able to keep Beterbiev at bay for 12 rounds…. That’s not gonna happen…. and when Beterbiev get to Bivol which he will… Bivol will notice the power he is being hit with…. Beterbiev has wanted the Bivol fight for years… he really wants Bivol…. as Bivol has a belt that Beterbiev the warrior really really wants💥

I've never heard a fighter speak like this guy. He says " I'm not a good boxer yet " , then he says " I don't make predictions, we'll see who wins ". To me, there's nobody at 175 or 168 today who would beat him, you'd have to go back to the late 80S when guys like Evander Holyfield was at 175 in order to see someone challenge Artur with a real threat of beating him.

He's so humble but yet a monster.

Because Beterbiev has a poker face he can break your heart. I thought he took a few half rounds off, took the six round off. The only times Smith was successful was when he did this but Smith just couldn’t seem to dig those body shots in as much as what was being asked. Hope the fight versus Bivol happens. It's the fight we want to see. Think Bivol will win, but it will be a clash of titans.

Bivol will be a much harder prospect fighting much better at range than Smith did. You let this guy on the inside you are in a world of trouble. It would be a great fight.

Canelo actually pinned Bivol a few times. Beterbiev if he sets up his punches could knock Bivol out cold unconscious. But it’s something about Bivol’s timing and boxing at a distance that makes the difference. A few years ago I pick Beterbiev by 10th or 11th round knockout. But now I think Bivol wins 117-111.

It's going to be someone with all the ingredients to beat him. Think the jab to the chest is key, need to keep him off balance, be able to not let him set often, tie him up on the inside, step away using angles. Clearly you need to be able to take a shot. I think a fight with Ward would have been interesting. He's another Crusher but a little bit better with his economy and closing down the space.
