173 achievements done mate (5k hours) keep going and you adventurely get there

Sooo, if you had bombarded the Contingency planets instead of using a Colossus, you would've ended up with a Living Metal deposit in that system.

RIGHT. I recently experienced just that. At first I was confused about how to deal with the AI worlds without a Colossus - like, who am I bombing? There are no buildings or armies there! But eventually it kinda just self-destructed when reaching some amount of devastation. And in the process of that self-destruction, it released a lot of Living Metal.

Instead of clicking through to give everyone utopian abundance, you should’ve just set default rights to utopian abundance and then set all to default rights

Galatron is a 1% x 7 to get in a playthrough(slightly more if ai gets it somehow and you yoink it with a special CB) Birth of a new universe is 50/50 for the leviathan to come to a solution with your help. Then it's 25/75 for it to actually result in the universe, so a 12.5% overall of success. That makes it still a better chance than galactron in a normal playthrough, but it's a definite restart, if it doesn't happen.

I remember getting the Galatron years ago (actually with my first run with the Megacorp dlc), never got it since, which hurts because I didn't get the Raiders achievement.

Clash of the Titans is a VERY bugged achievement. It almost never triggers when it’s supposed to. The only advice is good luck and don’t expect to get it.

Yeahhh. When I was trying to get 100% a few years ago it was one of the last left for me. Just have to reset and try it again a lot of playthroughs. There are some helpful guides out there for how to get certain achievements which would almost never happen naturally, like Sic Semper Tyrannis.

"i got the galatron and all i got was this lousy achievement" i once got it and didnt get that lousy achievement because it was in a multiplayer game. And everyone stopped playing that save like 1 hour after i rolled it. Feels bad

I got it, but i never have seen the Galatron again to steal it :)

also for the titan fleet battle you just need to have at least 1 titan in whatever fleets you use to fight the AI's titan fleet

“Would be nice to have an apply all” ignores the default settings at the top.

A little tip for cheesing some of the achievements when you need AI to do soemthing: load your savegame as a multiplayer save and choose a different empire. You can also load a fresh save as an observer to see if what you need spawned or not.

@@hardcorelace7565 no, but you can load single player games in mp as an AI empire, since the game loads paused, you can set up wars, wreck his economy, or do anything specific you may need. There are only a handful of empires you can load up mp, like Minimar, Federation-start empires and fallen empires.

"It'd be nice if there was an 'apply to all' button" There is. Set your default species rights to whatever you want everyone to have, and then click the "reset to defaults" button right there at the top of the screen. It might avoid your main species but you can change that one easily.

I wonder how long this will take!

i believe you can actually "apply all" on species rights by clicking "Set default rights" in the top right of the species tab

6:58 yes if only there was a way to set a default for all species and what else would be crazy resetting rights to default and then apply it almost like the two buttons that say it on the top right of the species screen (can’t blame you most of the time I don’t have other species to set rights for) love your stuff.

As somebody who has played since 1.0something and has 6900+hours on this game, I can tell straight away that your attempt to get ALL of the achievements is a long haul. Some of them are HEAVILY rng based and require a boatload of hidden criteria. The most rng-heavy one is "steal the Galatron" one, but the runner up is "destroy enemy collosus while its firing" or "Destroy Sol as humans ruled by brainslugs". Good luck to you though, you'll need it.

Some of the achievements you're nerfing your build to focus like 1k trade or loads of FTL tech you can just rely on hitting in late game naturally. Also getting the Scourge Matriarch takes decades for the event to pop normally.

88 here, though not playing currently (waiting for the next update), I only play ironman mode, and never chased them, but just racked them up over the years.

Now come the painful ones ... oh yes

Wait. You managed in one game to get almost as many as i have. Now i think I'm not as good as i thought

all i can say is i would have so many more achievements if only for the fact that i can't play without Gigastructural engineering, forgetting to mention 2 other mods.

I might do one myself, perhaps not 100%, but maybe I can get a reasonable 90% xD

Kind of an off topic question but how do you get +9 Influence/month? I'm always struggling with Influence.
