I Tried an At Home Keratin Treatment on My Curly Hair
Ойын-сауық
I tried an at-home keratin treatment for my curly hair and I love the results! I highly recommend it to anyone with curly hair who is tired of the maintenance and wants your hair to be less curly and easier to detangle!
The keratin treatment I used in this video

Thank you for showing your natural hair after the treatment!
I'm a professional hairdresser and I've never done a keratin treatment. But you did a really good job 👏🏾 💖
Love the results! 😻Thanks for sharing! It’s been hard to find videos that show the results when maintaining a curly style, so I really appreciate your video!

Your hair looks very shiny. Does the product have any dyes in it???

Thank you so much! So I actually cut it myself. I did a variation of the unicorn cut to give it the layers it has!
What flat iron are you using ?!? Thank you 🙏🏻
Hi hun what is the blow-dry brush you are using
Did the product smell when you were applying it? And when you were blow drying & flat ironing? I’ve used the other keratin research product and the chemicals were soo strong it was unbearable so I’m curious about this one. Thank you :)
hi there! did your curl pattern come back over time? and after a few months did you notice any damage?
Hi love. How long does it last?
Hi hun how often do you do the keratin treatment? And is it a must the flat ironing aspect of the treatment has to be done?

So I’ve done it twice so far this year. I read that you can do it three times a year and you won’t damage it too much. And for this particular product I used, the flat ironing is a must. But I think there are some keratin treatments where you don’t need to flat iron.
Hey Sarah! Have you heard of the aphogee 2 minute treatment? Just curious what made you choose this product over others :)

Looks like it relaxes the curl a bit. The Aphogee doesn’t do that. It might do the opposite.
I am sold on that wash out!!! 🙌🏽 that’s exactly what I’m looking for. Not for it to be straight but just knock some of the curl out how long did it last?

Update.. I did it!! I did over process. So the back is straight but he top is very loose curls . I love it tho. And will do it again. I also did the stronger one on my moms and she loves it.
Hii so my curly hair looks kinda like that. But i want wavy hair (2a) but not pin straight. Is there any chemical treatments i could try to achieve that?
It’s kind of a shame how many passes you have to do with a flat iron considering that’s what most people are trying to avoid after the treatment

I know 😫 to be honest I didn’t need to keep doing it but I really wanted to make sure there was a difference. I have barely put heat to my hair since doing this though! I love the results.
Was this your first time, and did it damage your hair💘

So I have had a Brazilian blowout done professionally before but that was years ago. This is the first time trying this on myself. And no my hair doesn’t feel or look damaged at all. Since this video, I’ve done it one more time so my hair is even straighter now. I love it. It barely gets tangled and so much easier to manage!

@@SarahLyoness does it cause your roots to go puffy, because of regrowth?

@@leenhilal1250 Since I did another one in mid-April I don't think I've had enough regrowth to notice any big difference. And my roots were never really voluminous when my hair was curly so I don't think that'll be a problem. But I plan to do it again in the Fall. I absolutely love it and don't miss my curls at all!
