Service: Cezanne Keratin Smoothing Treatment
If your hair is breaking as fast as it’s growing or you’re having trouble retaining length a Cezanne keratin treatment might be your answer.
I compare a Cezanne treatment to laminated paper…
Your hair is the paper and the keratin protein is sealed onto the hair as a protectant
This prevents damage and breakage so your hair can grow longer.
When it comes time for her trim I barely have to cut anything off because those ends are so healthy!

    Love all the info! 👌🏽I have great success both with myself and clients keratins over the years. I have blonde hair & I only do 2 passes at 390deg. Proper conditioning & no excessive heat, as you said, is best. So your client wearing her hair curly is perfect!

    Ive been doing diy keratin treatments at home for 6 years. Im not a hairdresser. I used to watch what they did to my hair at the salon and finally decided I could do it. I was paying £200 per treatment. I buy the product for about £40 which gives me 2 treatments. I used to hate sitting in salon for 3 hours. Now, at home, I can pace myself and do the treatment over 7 hours, which gives me a break to do other things. And my hair is fine - healthy and thick.

    Omg Woman, THANK YOU!🤗You’ve sold me on getting a keratin treatment😂I was turned off from getting one at first, because when they initially came out they all had formaldehyde, and I did NOT want to be exposed to that. Now thanks to you, that I know about the formaldehyde Free Cezanne product, and I live in California, so I will be looking for a professional to do my hair with that keratin product, because I am a 4c natural, but my curls have gotten so unmanageable that I cannot even have a decent “Wash n’ Go” without lots of frizz😩Without failure to mention, every time that I flat iron my hair it puffs right up before I can even finish my full head😭Furthermore, thank you very much for this video, you’ve answered all of my questions because although I have a bunch of uncontrollable frizz, I don’t want to ruin my curl pattern and have to chop my hair off like if I had a perm to fully regrow my natural curls back.

    Thank you for this video @timelesslymirna. The information shared has helped me understand this process. I have been interested in receiving this treatment although I have heard that the laminating/sealing of the cuticle layer could prevent the cuticle from opening and allowing hydration to enter the hair shaft, leading to dry hair. Have you seen this as a concern from keratin treatments?

  • @timelesslymirna

    @timelesslymirna

    6 ай бұрын

    I’m so glad you found the video helpful! And to answer your question: No, I haven’t experienced dryness from my clients. Yes, the keratin provides a protective layer but you can still hydrate the hair or even color your hair after getting the treatment. It doesn’t prevent products or moisture from penetrating your hair. As long as you keep up with your regular cleansing and deep conditioning routine, your hair will remain moisturized. Some people think after they get the treatment they don’t have to keep up with their regimen. But you do, the keratin just makes managing your hair much easier. ❤️

  • @smokeyfan

  • @timelesslymirna

    @timelesslymirna

    Yes, frizz makes her hair look bigger. Once the curls clump together it looks like less hair. Her hair is thriving after a year of treatment. Since the treatment fades out she can stop at anytime if she wanted to take a break. It’s the same routine I recommend everyone, wash and deep condition weekly. No change in your regular routine.

  • @timelesslymirna

    @timelesslymirna

    Her curl pattern was not changed. You’re seeing her hair wet after rinsing. Her curls have clumped together (reducing frizz) her hair was also wet after rinsing. Water weighs her hair down as you know so it looked stretched. When her curls are dry she has more volume of course.

    Hi hi! Honestly, I don’t think chemical treatments are getting taken out of salons anytime soon. It’s a multibillion dollar industry at this point. If anything they are just going to regulate the formulas to switch to healthier ingredients (which they’re doing currently). If you are opposed to chemical treatments you might want to look into different deep conditioning treatments like Olaplex and K18. They won’t last as long but they do help the hair. Hope this helps 💕

  • @timelesslymirna

    A keratin doesn’t change your curl pattern. It reduces frizz for smoother defined curls. You can see before we applied her current keratin treatment her hair was bigger and frizzier. After we applied the treatment her hair had no frizz and looked more defined. If her curl pattern looks looser, it’s because longer hair is heavier which weighs down and stretches her curls. Once we cut her hair, her curls sprung back up and looked tighter.

Everybody has the same company line that it's a smoothing treatment and if it's done right it won't loosen the curl pattern. Not saying it's a bad thing because it looks amazing after it's done. I’m looking at this young lady and her curl loosened. It looks great. More manageable. but it does loosen the curl pattern slightly. Not like a perm/texturizer would, but I see it. And many women say when you wet your hair it doesn't come back, maybe in a few months it will. Again, not saying it's a bad thing because it's manageable for a lot of women. Especially those with type 4 hair. I have 2c-3b thin hair. I want to get it, but I don’t want to end with more type 2 wavy hair. I like my type 3 curls. 😊
