I tracked every minute of PLANT CARE for a week | Life with 150+ Plants

...and this is what happend. I don't know if that is a lot of time to spend on plant care but for me it seems pretty reasonable. With my huge houseplant collection of Monstera, Philodendron, Hoya & Anthurium it does take a lot of work to take good care of them all. With a few tricks in my houseplant care routine it is totally possible though & it is my hobby afterall so I enjoy doing it anyway.
I hope you enjoy the format ♥

I spend hours & hours sometimes & love every single minute of it! BTW, I love your editing style! You put so much work into it& it's so fun to watch your videos! I have an Etsy shop that I sell plants on in the US & spend hours tending to those plants. Usually, I spend more time on those plants than I do my personal collection. It's a job so, makes sense that I would spend a substantial amount of my time on them right? Right now, I am packing plants to ship all over the US & it will take make the majority of today to finish packing like 6 orders. Especially because I live in a cold climate so it is crucial to spend my time making sure the plants will arrive safe & NOT COLD from their travel. My time changes depending on if I sell a lot of plants that week or not. This week, I have already spent probably 14 hours on plant care for my shop & it's only Tuesday! lol! I wouldn't change it for the world! I'm so blessed to have this little gig & I thank the lord above every day that I get to make money doing something I love!

That's the spirit! I love when you guys like the editing, I spend waaay to long playing around with effects etc. So I really appreciate you noticing 💚. It seems like you really do put in a lot of work into your shop. At least while packing plants you have a lot of time to watch Netflix or KZread 😂. I used to ship plants too but I didn't like all the extra hassle so I switched to local sales only. At first I was worried I wouldn't be able to sell as many plants as before but it actually worked out quite well. I guess it's beneficial to live in a quite densely populated area ^^. Selling plants is so fun and rewarding I totally get why you love it so much, keep up the great work! 👌 Greetings from Germany 💚

HAHA! This is fun! I don't keep track of my time but it definitely feels a lot. But not to forget whenever I'm home, I will pause to observe my leaves almost every time my plants are in sight. So indoors, that's a ton of time! For outdoors, I stop to observe my outdoor plants when I want to clear the garbage. And then walking back, I'll stop and observe again. When I go to work, same thing happens XD Now I'm conscious of my time spent on the plants hahahaha

Hi Kristina :) I just love your channel as much as the first time I watched it! Your apartment is so beautiful as your plants are too! I only have one scheduled dsy to water my anthuriums on Monday, as I was watching your video I realized I forgot yesterday! Everything else I do with my plants is all free style! Yes large collections are so much work! But there are so many species that feel like no work at all!! I remember the days when I did not have pests as well.....that is what tires me most and seems like the most work...my queen is working on a new leaf! Hopefully mine will succeed, it will be the first leaf in my care! I got 3 big hanging baskets in the tub from last night....so I have to hang them back up and water my anthuriums and other moss only plants! Long ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡hugs and great job on all the hard work you do! Your plants always shine and radiate....I spend at least a couple of hours everyday.....I have not had those crazy repot days that can last all day!!? Ha ha spring I save that for!

I am so bad with watering and caring for my plants atm, I think I roughly spend about 1 hour a week maybe? In the summer it would take up all my spair time, I could spend 10 hours a week. I think 5 hours are pretty solid, not too long, but you are not rushing

That's so interesting, I think there are always times where motivation on plant care is low, or where you just don't find the time. You're right, it really differs depending on the season too.
