@@dazzaMusic I don't think it's a ravioli that has good ingredients and is made fresh daily. Those are so expensive that a restaurant doesn't earn anything cooking them. After all, they only boiled them😂2% of the entire work. They might be better than those in big grocery stores but not like those that are fresh. Only a few hours old. With an unbelievable filling. I've done fresh ravioli from a recipe a few times. You chop everything so small to pack as much flavor in them as possible. They are so much different from those you can buy. And if you find a good Italian the dish costs you 15 dollars in the shop. How do you want to earn money on that?

Yeah, as someone in the service industry, most of the time we deal with bullshit from customers who assume they’re right, and I generally hate the statement “The customer is always right”, but if I worked there I’d be fucking infuriated at Sammy on behalf of the woman. I’d probably go over there myself and apologize to her, because holy fuck that man has something wrong with him.

They get defensive for a few reasons, because they think it is still 'cheffing' and the fact that Gordon can taste it was microwaved when they think they could get away with doing that shit. And then some do because it's them realising they are frauds to call themselves a chef when that's what they practise.

He did say that was a factor in him giving up on the show. He was getting very sick off camera from the disgusting food.

Gordon is nice to the wait staff because he knows they are essentially held hostage by the chefs and manager. They have no control over the quality of food coming out and take most of the complaints and abuse from customers. I’m always nice to the waitstaff because I know they can’t help the quality of food. I’ve seen so many Karen’s take out their frustrations on them including my mom and I always feel bad.

everyone asks "who" is the title maker but not "how" is the title maker 😞

What's kind of interesting about the roaches in the kitchen is where a lot of them were. They were on the plates but the plates were sitting next to that cardboard egg thing (I can't remember what it's called right now) but that alone helps the roaches thrive. For people that have roaches as pets 🤢🤮🤮 using those cardboard thing helps maintain moisture, providing a darker atmosphere and better places to hide. If you don't wanna take my word for it, go watch My Strange Addiction and watch the episode with the little girl who has thousands of roaches as pets. That's how she explained it more or less. Moral of the story...burn it down. Burn. It. Down!

Some of these customers have a lot more composure than I would. If I made a factual statement about food being microwaved and got harrassed by an employee for that statement, I'd be walking out the door right away. I've worked customer service, so I know all too well that "the customer is always right" is a nonsense statement. But when the customer is actually right, that is NOT the time to be telling them off.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a social media manager outright ask for help before.

I don’t understand how a restaurant that isn’t just absolutely freaking delicious could survive anywhere in New York City. When I went, the food was one of the things that stood out the most. It was freaking incredible. I went to a place on Mott st that had the best flounder I’ve ever eaten in my life. Every other dish we ordered was insane. The way their family ordered was perfect. They ordered basically everything on the menu for a group of 12-15 people and we just passed it around. There was an Italian place that had a pretty cheap pasta lunch but it had the best tomato sauce I’d ever tried. I’ve eaten food from all over. The food there was insane. How could any place hope to survive without the same?

When I went to NY there were seven smells with each step. Two horrible, two were unidentifiable but not bad. Two were unidentifiable and nasty and one that was “I want to eat there.” Lol

It's the same in Los Angeles. Every restaurant is delicious. The restaurants that are not as good only survive in areas where people just don't know better.

Honestly good on Gordon Ramsay to be able to look at something, go "this is probably 3 weeks old and microwaved," and STILL take a bite to test it what a champ

The thumbnail is fresher than chef mike’s food

the hard cuts between him insisting there's no plastic in the kitchen and the abundance of plastic in the kitchen fucking phenomenal

whenever I'm feeling down, Gordon would always cheer me up by destroying these people.
