You don’t know how important this clip is and how much motivation it gives me in learning to ride a dirtbike at the 40, do you? Thank you so much. Love from Vietnam! Come back to the S Country again, okay!

OMG ... i did an Ady Smith weekend about 20 years back .... loved it
great learning to be had. thank you
that’s amazing after just a few weeks, Martha is a natural. Mitch has no excuse coming off the 2 stroke 😂
Very impressive, I was nervous watching you Martha, Mitch is just a demon lol. Mud and ruts are my nemesis, you were so confident on that field...

Thank you! I knew I was in the best hands for sure, super useful for me to do🙌🏼
Very impressive, enduro is the toughest discipline imo , 40yrs of road riding count for nothing when it comes enduro , Ady Smith and his team are quality and the knowledge they have is gold dust , well done Martha .

Well said! Thank you so much😊
09:42 The "anyone can ride fast in a straight line" line is a line I've used many many times when I was a motorcycle instructor haha! He certainly knows his stuff and believe it or not, being a newbee is actually an advantage, because you have had all the bad habits that most road riders have ingrained into their riding, trust me a lot of road guys cannot transfer to dirt.
Aged 67 I'm on the same learning curve as you. You are nailing it...grit, guts determination, focus. Fall down, get up! Well played!

I love to see you doing things like this, I can tell you initially felt a bit overwhelmed but you could actually see it all coming together in one short video. Slow riding - balancing throttle brake and clutch is a real skill, just keep the revs up a touch and control it with the clutch to avoid a stall It will save a few offs once you boss it Martha. I hope you do a few more off road days like this it's a joy to watch you having fun. I cant tell you how valuable training like that is, do yourself a favour and book a full week with Aidey

You guys are doing it right! Getting to train with a skilled Coach is so important! Great that AD is a Champion rider but even more that he has selected a training ground that will challenge you and yet with his instruction will enable help you learn too. Remember to practice what he teaches you after the training ground training day! Have fun !!! Martha, so glad you had a chance to ride a few other bikes re “lighter”. Be clear, you are riding an ADV Bike with half worn tires…on slick grass and truly more off road terrain. The 300 is a wonderful machine but there is o doubt that it ways a lot more than a traditional Enduro Bike! All this to say, you are doing really well! So proud of you!!!!!

she did so great! I could see at te beginning her resistance to riding into the rut, it's so scary when starting out!!! I bet you're proud of her. My girlfriend just started riding a 250F and we're having the same experience watching her grow and enjoy it ! So fun to see people learning and improving and inspiring themselves to keep going! Cheers from America. - Nick

well done again. getting better every day.
You Rock Martha! You where on an off road course with a heavy dual sport bike with dual sport tire and rocking it. Just remember drops and get offs are a pain in the ass but totally necessary to learn how to fall without getting hurt.

15:57 because it is. When going in fast turns on pavement, you lean in the direction of the turn and you move your weight likewise. Just look at MoroGP riders - they are almost next to the bike, "inside" the corner. Off-road, it’s the opposite. Kinda hard to switch over at the beginning, but you’ll get there :)
You are doing brilliantly Martha don’t forget you were riding around the CBT centre only a few weeks ago. I’ve been riding since I was 10 years old and my riding come intuitively you learn this with practice. I am so impressed with your progress so far.😀😘

No 1 is keeping your weight on the peg opposite to where you turn and stay loose. You lucky buggers getting advice from such a fine man. Even riding a roadbike you always put your weight on the peg opposite of where you turn and the weight on the front wheel. If that loose grip you where already going to crash. These ways you can adjust if something happen. Just love these films. I am selling my Triumph Tiger 800 XT and going into vanlife now. Enjoy and always be aware and safe when riding. Always assume that everyone is a muppet in traffic. You will be fine. :)

I think the BF should be riding the CRF Rally and the GF the regular as it's much lighter! Switch bikes, make it easier for her for the beginning.

The Rally has got suspension fitted that makes it sit around 2 inches lower than the L which cant be swapped. Also with the bigger fuel tank fit on the L theres only a few kilos wet weight between the two.

@@TheJammyGits Ofc! As always there’s more nuance involved. Ok, I see, but the 300 Rally is quite a hefty bike (like 150kgs hefty) and even with its lowering kit it’ll be a handful to manage in tougher conditions. I know the bike quite well as my mate rides it in enduro rides (and I often take it to ride it out of the most difficult conundrums we find ourselves into as I’m the taller more experience rider - it’s a heavy bike). What I’m saying is that I don’t think it is the best beginner’s bike. Especially for a girl. Maybe look for a lighter option.
for being 5 foot nothing and as light as a feather driving an absolute tank of a motorcycle your doing an amazing job, only thing now is gaining experience and the only way is by doing. so practice, practice, practice and before you know it mitch will be keeping up with you. (👍 ͡❛ ͜ʖ ͡❛)👍

Thanks for that I will look into it. Have you heard of the Finke race in Australia? My husband did that some years ago now, but that is the level that I am trying to catch up to. It's hard work but your doing a great job Martha, dream big 👍🇦🇺
Sorry!
I'm afraid i might have to unsubscribe. I didn't sign up to see Martha having fun, riding like a demon and enjoying herself and all whilst breathing normally. It's not what I expect from this channel.😂😂 Well done both.
