I've had so many paranormal experiences in my childhood and at 24 years old, I don't sleep in complete darkness and cover myself with just my eyes and mouth not being exposed.

The link between experiencing the ghost and the sleep paralysis is interesting. I had sleep paralysis for years but hadn't associated it with my ghost experience until you shared your story. There was a shadow figure in the home I grew up in and I had horrible nights watching it creep along the wall. Later I shared the experience with my sister and found out that she had seen it multiple times too. For me it was traumatic and I started to sleep sitting up in a chair...afraid to fall asleep. 30 years later I took my children to see the house during an open house when it was for sale again. I had never told them the story. When we entered my former bedroom, my daughter, age 8, said she wanted to leave that this place was scary for her. I was so unhappy living in that house. I found that I could stop the sleep paralysis if I quit trying to move and just focused my attention on being in some spot of my body...like placing my attention on a finger or an arm. Then it would stop and I could move.

I believe you. I’ve had a strange experience that couldn’t be explained and it’s so frustrating when people try to tell me I was just imagining it!

8:07 this is so weird!! I just recorded a video so similar to this and when you said the breathing thing I was like omg!!! I just spoke about the exact same thing I dealt with as a child! 😱 so weird that us little witchlings had such similar experiences! 😳❤️❤️🥰🥰

This is going to be so good! Edit: what a crazy story… I’ve experienced a handful of similar events that I still haven’t really processed? The only time I’ve seen a literal person/ghost was when my grandma died and I saw her mother, my great-grandmother in our living room just sitting there and look at me. I always used to sense spirits or see more like shadows/energies instead of literal people so that was a first for me but now whenever I feel a presence and when I hear stuff moving in my room- I always thank them for their visit and tell them to please leave now and farewell. I have once in a while “cats” visit me, as I like to call them, because those spirits always play around my very unstable table and I hear them jumping on it and going around the table’s legs (I used to have cats so that’s why I know how that sounds like) but I don’t mind them as they stopped visiting that often and they do no harm

What a classic that it started after the renovation! After all, big changes often bring out ghosts. Very interesting and creepy experience, thank you for sharing it! I've had a few ghost experiences too, 2 of which even my pets reacted to, so I can be sure there really was something there. On one (I was 13 or 14), a black-translucent figure sat next to my bed in my chair & petted my cat, who purred even though she normally was afraid of strangers & almost only really let me pet her. Like you, the clock said I couldn't have been asleep yet in just 5 minutes, it always took me ages to fall asleep too. About 2 years ago, in the middle of the day, my roommate's dog & I heard my roommate come home, the door unlocked, „she“ came in, and the door closed. Dog happily jumped off my bed and ran into the hallway. Silence. He is never quiet when one of us comes home, he doesn't bark but he runs around and is happy, you can hear the paws on the floor. But if someone strange is at the door, he barks reliably. But he did neither. When I came into the hallway, there was no one there. I walked around the whole flat, called out, no one there. My flatmate came a few hours later, don't worry, nothing happened. Except that the dog and I were quite confused and I worried for a while until I reached her.

I had lots and lots of paranormal experiences through my childhood and so have my family. So I totally believe you ! 😅

That’s when I started to truly believe the path I chose was the right one and also everything that I was doing was based in the events I was truly living, none was invented or product of our dreams or imagination (as the adults used to say). Hello Ella! Awesome story and have had experiences as well. One notable experience I had was I was using a Spirit Board to contact the other side with a group of friends, during the seance we heard footsteps all around the house, mostly in the kitchen and living room while the spirit board was going crazy with relevancy to what we was asking. I got deeply affected afterwards with what I can only describe as a dark attachment, I had extreme mood and personality changes, with bouts of anger, and depression. Couple weeks of that i decided to get cleansed with sage, had to twice to get whatever was attached to me to be banished. Whatever it was was very strong and powerful.

I believe you. This is a pretty interesting video. And btw, I have experienced sleep paralysis as well. It only happened once and never again. I had made light of the ghostly activities at my friends house one evening, then this happened to me that night in his living room. I keep my mouth shut now when it comes to taunting ghosts lol

I had a similar thing happen to me when I was younger at my family home. According to several mediums my parents house is situation near a portal. There would always be lots of spirits coming and going and most would be friendly. At one stage we had a very negative entity reside in our house. I would have dreams about this black cloud taking over my body and then I would wake up to it choking me. I don't physically see ghosts but I usually get a mental image of what they look like. This wasn't a spirit, it was more of a black cloud/figure. It was terrifying.

Thank you for sharing your story. It looks like so many have had a similar experience. I did as well. Being older, wiser, and having spent a good amount of time developing my gifts, learning about energy, spirits, etc I do believe that it’s possible to help/encourage these spirits who are in limbo to crossover. They often get stuck hanging around for a reason, but they all need to move on eventually as for their own spiritual evolution. After my experience at ten I was like you where I check out the energy of a home before moving into it. Nice that you shared your experience ❤

Thanks for sharing your experience! When I saw a ghost, I was so scared and in utter disbelief that I forgot to breathe. LOL. I saw a full body apparition (like you) and the experience literally changed my life. Not dramatically. I just stared paranormal investigating to try and understand what I experienced. And it made me question things and be inquisitive about other beliefs. It was my gateway to my current practice from a very religious upbringing.

Oooh ghost stories! I saw a lot of ghosts (& fairies, but I didn't know that's what they were til much, much later. They were the gnarly kind, I didn't know fairies could look like that til I was an adult) when I was a kid, and a handful of times as an adult because I used to work in a very old & haunted hotel. But the only story I have where others saw the same ghost was when I stayed the night at my boyfriend's house. There were 2 different times. The first was when I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't move, not like sleep paralysis, like something was on top of me & I couldn't sit up. I could move though because I started shaking my boyfriend awake and panicking. He started to wake up, and I felt the pressure lift. I was pretty freaked out because like I said before, I saw ghosts as a kid, but they NEVER touched me before. He said he didn't see anything that time but he knew what I was talking about because he had felt it before. The second time, I woke up and saw nothing but her eyes staring at me, she was so close! I screamed and my boyfriend popped up and her saw her that time, kneeling next to the bed. Did not sleep over again after that.

Hi Ella. I remember when I was between the ages of 15-17, I would get visitations from a woman I believed to be my maternal grandmother. She passed away when my mom was 7 years old, so I never met her. I remember the first time she came into my bedroom in the middle of the night. I was asleep, but I felt her presence. When I woke up, I saw a woman who looked much like my mother standing in my doorway. I thought this was odd, so I said, "Mom why are you here?" There was no answer, but as she got closer towards me, I could see she wasn't my mother, so I started screaming. I thought someone would hear me but it was a "silent" scream, which may be part of sleep paralysis. This happened a few times and then stopped. One day, my mother noticed a pair of her earrings missing. She asked me had I seen them. I said I hadn't. She looked everywhere, but she never found them. She told me she remembered her mother loved jewelry, and she believed she had them. That's when I told her about the visits of the woman in my room. It all made sense at that point.

This was really interesting, I'd love to hear more of your stories if you ever feel up to it!

After I had scary encounters spiritually, I been scared of dark ever since.

I don’t remember this one but I was definitely part of it 🥶. I have 5 sisters and 1 brother. At this point 2 of my sisters were not living with us and my younger sister and brother had not been born yet. So it was my mom and dad my 2 sisters and I. The house was old it had a ground floor and 2nd floor. The bedrooms were on the second floor, kitchen living room and bathroom on ground floor. It was during the week so my dad was at work and my 2 sisters were at school; my mom had put me down for a nap in my crib upstairs. My mom was back downstairs and started hearing something running around( I couldn’t climb out of my crib at that point) she thought one of my sisters had not gone to school. She went upstairs and I was out of my crib sitting on the floor watching something and laughing. We lived there until I was about 4-5 I remember the radio, tv, and lights would turn on and off by themselves. I have more but stick with this one for now

We only learnt of the suic*de after I saw the man stand in my room - prior to me seeing that, it was my Grandfather and me who would hear footsteps but we didn’t learn about the history for weeks after it all happened
