Funny thing is that 9 times out of 10 its a jinn acting as your husband to either -1 fuck with you as entertainment 2- to get something out of you Like leaving food outside so the demon can eat

The best way to use a ouija board is to have someone that can connect with the spirit world and have them open up a prayer of protection and close down again safely, we always do that and have been using boards safely for years

My dad got me one for a Christmas present and this one time my mom and brother were using it when my brother's friend came over and we were calling upon our spirit guides and when we asked a question about my brother's friend it spelled out that he would commit suicide and that's when I was like this isn't our spirit guides and that's when we stopped and from now on I use my pendulum to contact my spirit guides and so far nothing bad has happened

Thank you for educating people I feel so frustrated sometimes when I see people say things about the ouija board or the myth that it let something evil into their lives especially when no one did a preliminary protection spell or rite before using it. I've subbed because of your common sense approach to things and my husband is wiccan so I thought while he's at work I'd learn more about his family's religion and practices.

I suspect that that a statistically significant number of teenagers have spent at least a few minutes sitting around a Ouija board with friends going, "Is anybody there?" :-)

Yay finally someone who pronounces Ouija correctly! Everyone usually calls it a Wee-gee board and that drives me nuts! lol

I LOVE the tip for specifying who you're reaching out to. Regardless, of pendulum or spirit board, this is phenomenal advice!

With anything, that is divination base You have to have any healthy dose of respect..which you pointed out in your video.. My ouija board is 122 years old wish I could post a picture on here was made in 1899... As always a nice video..

I couldn't have said it better myself! I've had an itch to do it and I did it for the first time this year for just a minute or two but it was like no other method of divination I've used before. I have my fears but I also am very drawn to it.

This video is on time. I love your approach to the board. I have one but have yet to use it. I believe the word you were searching for around 4:44 is "respect". Respect can be a good description for fear, although it is not fear at all. I guess my biggest issue is I am alone in my practice, have never used the board, so I will be using the board alone. I think it also depends on what you’re comfortable using too, I know a lot of witches use different methods based on how they were originally raised

Its important to direct you question to specific entity... Like the universe, holy spirit, your guardian angels/ spirits... Maybe sure you feel safe and you are safe

There are soooooo many types of protections across all of the world's religions and spiritual practices it's incredible, the christians will use holy water in a circle, spiritualists have been known to use circles of salt or salt peter, ocean salt is great, the voodoo practitioners use black salt, and mystics use rose water or water made from lotus flower, navajo use sand so it's just what you feel works for you.

I want a nice one but I'm afraid to spend a lot of money on a one that just ends up looking pretty but doesn't work (I.E. its not snooth and the planchet is stuck). Merry met. I have only used the variety that comes from the box stores. Your board looks engraved with the letters and numbers. Does that affect the planchet at all when sliding along?

I tend block a lot of stuff from coming through. I’ve used boards in “safe” and “unsafe” ways and have never had a result. I Ching has been relatively beneficial. Interested in familiarizing myself with a more direct method. Great vid! ❤

How do you store your ouija board if you don't want to keep it out? I know you need your planchette separate from the board. I was thinking I could put the board upside down in a nice box and put the planchet in a velvet drawstring bag in the box. Would that be a good idea?

A very lovely and informative video. Me personally I never got any spooky vibe using a spirit board. I prefer using it to understand my subconscious. This isn't spooky at all. Hehehe 😄 I do have a couple deities I work with when I use a spirit board also. Yet they are deeply loving and caring. The spirit moves through us - so we technically move it but we allow the spirit to guide us - similar to how you are guided to pick a tarot card or a rune in its pouch

You don’t, it is hard to explain until you have successfully done it yourself - it almost feels like automatic and that your hand just ‘does it’

I used one of these bout 8 years ago with a group of friends. It was cool until a spirit attached itself to me. It was crazy, there was footsteps all around us while using it. Love contacting the other side but having attachment isn’t fun.

I agree! I would dare say you can’t really put an age on it at all, if I were to one day have a child and the child shows an interest at the age of 8 and we are using the board together I wouldn’t see a problem with that - it just completely depends on the individual situation, I would NOT let my 8 year old future kid try it by themselves with their friends alone and unsupervised. Some 40 year olds aren’t ready yet to use the board - which is fine too. Its just a strange thing that this was ever made into a ‘board game’ with age recommendations at all

@@EllaHarrison Well not making angstrom crobes nanocrobes and microbes angry is one thing but I myself can't tell the difference. I've lived in this honey pot scheem with ghost police everywhere I go with no rest. So to make them mad is just survival I think.

I really see these like any other tools and I think the "hype" around them creates a very negative psychological atmosphere. I also find that involving others "muddles" the energy coming through and it is pretty rare for me to work with others unless they are just sitting in the circle as the querent. That is particularly important if the goal is to speak to someone the person has lost. I think creating a ritual around using the board is something anyone using it should do.

Th3 board was ACTUALLY started, by 2 brothers in the 1800s, ÀS a game.

Unfortunately sometimes spirits don’t have anything to say to us, as heartbreaking as that sometimes can be, though I understand the feeling. Let it sit for a while, perhaps one day you’ll feel like trying it again or like a spirit is trying to come through I tend to only use it when I feel like a spirit is reaching out to me more
