This project was on my ToDo list for over 1,5 years and just had to be finished now. I'm really excited for the next project. Building a new machine!

not only the project itself, he also nailed the presentation, choosen shots, montage, voiceover, camera angels, lighting, duration, effects and jokes.

I think thats because he IS a professional. From the accent i am pretty sure he is German and I guess he has a "Meister" in woodworking. My sister makes the same education and it needs 3 years to get a Woodworker and another 2 to be a Woodworking Meister. Inreally hope my sister will be as professional as he is because I also loove the videos and projects he makes.
This is premium quality DIY entertainment! Its just fun to watch 😃
That is a good insight in how complex a seemingly easy furniture project can get, if you want to do it properly. I liked the conclusion about saving money. But I would add, that the main reason to build own furniture is not saving money. It is more about aspects like having a unique situation where nothing from the store fits or having a special design in mind. Then it always pays off, just because no cabinet maker will build that for an acceptable price. Clever editing by the way.

The things you learn from such project also generate a certain value and might translate into money later in life. Not to underestimate - depending on what you make out of it
Choosing to TIG stainleas for your first welds ever is really jumping in the deep end! You sid far better work than I could have done with that much experience.
Every time Marius posts a new video, it's always another work of art. The project, the videography, and the storytelling are always top-notch. Keep up the good work Marius!
Your welds don't look bad for your first attempt. Give it time and believe me it will get much better, especially if you have the opportunity to practice in your spare time. A TIG welder was a dream of mine for a long time, then I bought it, practiced a lot at home and now I'm at the point where I passed an official TIG welder exam.

Yeah honestly pretty decent for a first attempt- having tried many different welding methods id say tig has a higher barrier to entry but once you nail the basics like how much stick out, dabbing and how to grind your tungsten it gets easier. Note if your tungsten keeps sticking it means you are too cold on your amps, try turning it up a bit more. Also want to note that when you grind a tungsten like Marius did on a bench grinder you should use the whole wheel whilst also turning the tungsten as it ensures you get a more consistent tungsten and you dont get a wear line in the wheel

If this is rly your first time weld, then yeah. it looks rly more then okay! For me it looks like you used to much heat or heated up too much of an area/were too slow. Maybe your feeding material is too big of a diameter ? there is smaller ones that makes more finer "drops" . Just keep practicing, once you get the hang of it it will just kinda go by itself. I love TIG welding
I just spent three days going through your entire back catalogue of videos, it's been an incredible journey watching your skills improve over the years! You've always demonstrated a brilliant aptitude for design, and watching your fabrication, manufacturing, engineering, and video production skills start to catch up with your vision has been a real treat. I can't wait to see what's next, you've more than earned another lifelong subscriber!
This project was great because it's not just about saving money or time, enjoying watching the artist's own art from the effort he has and will have to make the device he wants is the most important, that is, watching the effort to make life better.
Every time you come back to us with new videos, your build, design and video editing skills somehow get even better again! Excellent stuff Marius

Thank you, I appreciate
Dang Marius, I just started watching your channel (more like binging) and you have really revitalized my passion for doing these types of projects at home. Thank you for your countless hours of work put into teaching and inspiring, and for being a pleasure to watch of course!
What an epic project, all edited down to a 20 min video! True German quality :-) An inspiration to my own KZread channel!
Your welds look better than my first welds. Project looks great!
Small tip for doing 90° chamfers on the drill press: since you get a 1mm radius increase for every 1mm you drill down with a 90° bit, you can use the depth scale on the drill press to know how deep you have to go (just remember to multiply the depth by 2 for a diameter instead of radius). Example: Want to make a Ø17.3 chamfer on a Ø8.4 thru-hole? (17.3-8.4)/2 = 4.45. So when you drilled the Ø8.4mm just touch it using the chamfer drill without it running, zero the depth scale and then drill 4.45mm down to get a Ø17.3mm wide 90° chamfer. It´s not that important on flat stock since you can see and measure, but for inside holes/chamfers and hard to reach places it´s quite useful.

Awesome work Marius! I always look forward to your videos. Thanks for sharing.
Impressive work to make something that matches the piece you bought. I love it.
A very nice project. I am always impressed with your skill & QC. Very happy you have started posting often again.
Your work is always brilliant. The fact that you are a designer-fabricator is always a joy to watch;
absolute legend. please please please keep up the high quality work!
Love how you edited this video, the callouts like the one at 2:26 are wonderful.
I love it. Well done!!
glad to see your still going strong.
Mal wieder ein echter "Hornberger". Kompliment für das Projekt sowie für die Technische Dokumentation und den fantastischen Videoschnitt
Genius as usual. I appreciate your sharing of the little tricks like duct tape for proper pressure when clamped, and simpler stuff like washers as shims
Not only a good job but a very good video as well. Well done.
Year after year I'm impressed at the effort, skill, and thought put into your projects.
I love the Pantorouter use. So cool to see that in other workflows! Great vids!
O my goodness- I never saw a pencil sharpened using a drill to spin it in the sharpener ! In my opinion the best thing I’ve seen in ages 😂. Can’t wait to try it

Marius that miter trick was really nice, thank you for showing it!
That's amazing. Love it!
As always, I love your videos! They’re always classy with a mix of sarcasm (true good German humor in my opinion). Also your craftsmanship is impeccable
Your perfectionism is fantastic! This design is very linear and I love it! Can’t wait to see the new machine.
Marius, your videos are amazing as well as your work. It is a pleasure just watch your videos. There are professional workers that can t do what you do by yourself.
Great project and ended up very nice
Great job! I always learn a lot about welding on the youtube channel WELDING TIPS AND TRICKS. thanks!
Your channel is probably my favorite entertainment. All the hard work, the edit, engineering just perfect. Greetings my neighbor 🇵🇱
Great looking project.
Sehr Gut! That's a fantastic project. I like the design, function and look. Well done.
The sound design on the metal cad part was amazing! Gute Arbeit!
Yay for welding! I've long wondered why this has been absent from your already amazing skillset. I, too, and learning to weld (stick), and I would greatly appreciate your tips and perspective on learning to weld? Thanks for always amazing videos!
this video alone is so worth it, plus I am pretty sure you had so much fun building it and learning new things, not to speak all the things you build to create this wardrobe! Thanks for sharing!
Dude, you are SO German! Such precision and attention to detail. Very entertaining. Good work👍
Thanks dude. Awesome as always 😊
Fantastic work Marius, the build, the video, the presentation... You can't compare the cost of one-off joinery art with mass produced items. You now have a beautiful piece of furniture that no one else has, and you just can't put a price on that. Big kudos 👏
extending my tool wishlist to be able work on such interesting projects :) thanks...
Your projects always turn out great! The design is very cool and very well done.
BEAUTIFUL work sir!
Beautiful, I like that you tried the welding. You did awesome.
It looks great
Every time I watch your content and the quality of them I'm surprised you don't have more subscribers. Keep it coming.
excellent, excited to see welding projects in the future
You are simply amazing! What skills you have!
4:46 I had a similar idea when I build my shoe rack - I also press-fit the pipes into some holes I drilled.
I like it, it looks good and its pretty functional
I really enjoy Your videos, worldclass craftsmenship.
learning experience is priceless...
Super video Marius, got to be the best woodworking KZreadr for sure, thanks for sharing.
Excellent job!
Top notch work as is your norm, Marius.
Great project. That is a good looking wardrobe.
Very cool look. And the hooks near the wall fit a scarf or a shoehorn.
This guy is really amazing!
0:57 der Drucker sagt die absolute Wahrheit über Drucker
Really excellent Marius! Just bought some Wera torque wrenches, love the precision. I couldn't stop watching this morning, great now I'm going to be late to work!
Great job, Marius. You may not have saved money at work, but you have experience and pleasure from work. And this is also very important. You're a great engineer.
that's awesome! the "useless" right side hooks can be useful for some umbrellas or the like...
FANTASTIC!
Wow, great wardrobe! But may you could discuss the taste in shoes of your room mate! When saving on furniture you could spent more on quality shoes :-) I guess my best tip for welding is: practice, practice, practice... And for sure someday you'll build yourself a fireballs welding table to reach superbe accuracy.
This is really impressive.
2 things: TIG welding is probably the hardest welding process to learn especially for someone who’s never welded before, so that’s incredibly brave to immediately start on the project with such little practice. Second, grinders and paint will make you the welder you ain’t.
Marius is a master craftsman.
as this is built to last more then a few years somebody at least will get some savings from it at some point, so long as its a thing you find a need for. Personally I like the clean lines and the workmanship and thought process is spot on.
love the camera work and the editing
Amazing video!!!
I like it all, especially the solid wood! Built to last. 😊👍🏻
Great video and project. Time and practice will make the welds better. They didn’t look bad to begin with, especially since it was your first time.
Absolutly worth the time and money. It looks great :-)
Comme d'habitude toujours un super projet, très bien filmé et très beau design ! Bravo
Nice project and great attention to detail as always! Same with the editing. Keep it up!
Great work man, don't be too hard on yourself with the welds, you did great! And love how you're incorporating more humor, have fun with it!
Great work as always!
Fantastic as always, thank you!
Mega cool geworden! Danke für die Inspiration mit den geschweißten Teilen in Kombination mit Massivholz - da kann ich ja beim Möbel bauen auch noch meine gesammelten Stahlteile unterbringen, wird Zeit, dass die sinnvoll verwendet werden...
