I returned the $2,400 DYSON ROBOT VAC for a full REFUND - Here's why...

I bought Dyson's new Robot Vacuum the 360 Vis Nav but it didn't work out in my circumstances. I returned the unit for a full refund.

Thanks for that update, when I saw the Dyson specs (Optical Navigation) I though navigation was going to be an issue. You can't go wrong with a Roborock or Dreame, I really recommend a auto empty dock, they are a game changer. The Roborock S7+ is really good, I have a Dreame Z10 Pro that in 6 weeks has never got lost or stuck and I run it every day. Still on the first 4L dust bag in the dock. 100m2 house. Given your large area of concrete floors are you sure you don't want to consider a mopping function? for $2400 you good get a premium Roborock or Dreame that auto cleans and dries the mops with its own water reservoir for hands free vacuuming and mopping.

Suspected it would not be very good. Go for roborock.

Agree. I have 2 Roborock vacuums. I have 6 dogs and 2 cats. It's amazing at getting up the fur. It never runs out of battery. Always finds the dock. I have only had a few issues which were easily remedied.

For 2400, you would expect it to auto empty the vacuum for you. Roborock s7+ or max. You don't even need to set up any mopping function if you don't want to

Omgosh, tho! The doll! What a hoot!!!! I love her! You're a hoot!!!!! Anyway....great content about the vacuum. Good review. And I loooove your concrete floors, too, by the way. All in all, I wasn't surprised the vacuum didn't live up to the hype, they do seem to have too much hitch in their giddy-up to be worth the money. And your doggies are beauties, too.

Thank you for the update! Think no further than the iRobot S9. I’ve been using that for a 2+ years now with their Brava Jet M6 mop. Those are life savers. Mapping is top notch. No issues returning to the home at all. Too good. With 3 kids, I can’t live without those now 😃. I run the vacuum cleaner literally every day somewhere in the house. 3 suction levels. I use the highest level mostly but the mid level is sufficient, but I’m a bit of a clean freak haha. I even clean my 3 bathroom areas with the help of these two I’ve named “Jack” and “Jill” haha. I’m planning to buy a brother to the vacuum cleaner because of the workload 😊.

Thanks for the review, I think I will stick with my Neato I have had for 4 years. It does the same and was about half the price. It is still going strong and leaves vacuum lines in my plush carpet. By the way, can I have your dog........what a cutey!!! X

I know you said you’re not looking for a robot vacuum/mop, but it’s hard not to recommend it. The Roborock S7 MaxV. It’s the same price as the Dyson. It’s auto empty bin astounding, it vacuums well, top tier navigation. If you spent the kind of money on the Dyson initially, you would rather spend the money on the Roborock. You can get the auto empty bin that only empties dust for a much cheaper price, and you can just not use the mop part at all

I have a roborock S5 I've been very impressed with it's cleaning ability and it's navigation the current one looks even better though there isn't a model without a mop. though this doesn't take away from it's capacity. have a look at the Roborock S8+ and Roborock S8 Pro Ultra.

I have had the opportunity to extensively test the Samsung Powerbot VR7000, and I must say that it has performed admirably in cleaning my flat. Moreover, its ability to autonomously navigate and return to its docking station is truly impressive. However, I cannot speak to the capabilities of the newer Powerbot model. From my experience, it seems that many robot vacuums have a tendency to collide with objects during their cleaning process. Additionally, it is worth noting that robot vacuums typically categorize concrete floors as hard surfaces, hence the marks unwittingly left by the robot. Hope you find what you are looking for! Thanks for the review!!

Roborock S7 Max V is the best recommendation! It’s half the price of the Dyson, the app features are very rich and easy to understand, the robot is the fastest at cleaning, ai obstacle avoiding, and Self Washing Mop station so your robot can clean the mop itself! If you’re very adamant about robot vacuum ONLY then go with the Roborock Q5!!!

Ecovacs who make the Deebot, on the other hand, have a really poor after sales service for Australians. It is off shore for a start. They take days to return your emails and, when I rang the 1800 number, and wasn't getting any joy from the agent, he suggested I hang up and ring again to try my luck with another agent! I mean, wtaf? I had the Deebot 10T+, bought it late January 2023. It never worked from day one. It didn't suck up anything at all. It just pushed the dirt and pet hair around the floor, trapping it between the brush and the floor. I sent it back once for repair. It came back and still didn't suck up anything. It has taken me months for Ecovacs to finally agree to refund my money. I sent the machine back last Tuesday...waiting now for the refund to hit my bank. Though, if their past service is any guideline it could take them months. I would never buy a Deebot again.

I had high hopes on the new Dyson Robot Vacuum, but it seems a no go at the moment. Dunno why its not possible for such a high priced product to include the best state of the art obstacle avoidance? I also just want a d-shaped (because of the edge cleaning) robot vacuum without mopping feature. What do you think about the Samsung Bot AI+?

The Samsung isn't great but they have great marketing. Whatever unit you come across with, it will always be slightly behind the roborock or just marginally better than it in some tasks. There are many companies but roborock has been consistently performing exceptionally over the years

You‘re not a beta tester, the navigation has been utter bs since the first 360 Eye and still is now as I’m trying to get my 1000$ machine to find the dock in a 15 sqm room. I just gave up letting it clean my whole flat because it - just - does - not - work!

No, my previous video was 1 week in and we were of the belief the teething issues were sorted. They weren’t. Yeah I had buyers remorse, I bought a $2400 robot vacuum that didn’t do the robot part well. I’m currently trying a $2500 model from another brand so the money isn’t the issue.
