All the major brands of robot vacuum cleaner today comes with the dust collector and some even with mop cleaning function as standard, Dyson sucks!!😂😂

Thats bullshit! The truth is: Only Dyson made a good vaccum cleaner. All other robots are bad at vacuum cleaning. So please, dont spread bullshit. 🤷‍♂️

I don't know what Sir. Dyson was thinking when he designed this model.. he did something strange with a big ball vacuum similar to what the old canister vacuums look like. $1000 is crazy expensive for what that looks like 😩 and it's extremely loud also 😔

I also noticed that like you mentioned it didn't do a really good job of cleaning which is a real let down for Dyson since its other line of vacuums have such great suction and this one seens to lack it. Dyson really made itself look bad

It will have to self-empty before I’d get one.

I bought one, and it’s going back. It gets stuck on every floor heat vent so I can’t have it run on a schedule. It also did a terrible job mapping after two attempts. I had high hopes since it was a Dyson.

They should have paired their admittedly superior vacuuming power with a better navigation system. I don't understand why they insist with their camera based navigation system instead of lidar + camera. It didn't do them any favour with their old attempt and isn't now.

Yeah....this seems a BIt of a miss by Dyson. It seems to look lost while it is vacuuming. The one thing going for it though is a much larger roller brush than traditional robots.

Your floors must be spotless with all the vacuums you own 😂

Looks good, the brush and suction is probably the best but the navigation seems to be in beta. Its probably the worst navigation like its been released 1 year early

I’m interested in the long term if they improve software, keep us updated

I had high hopes for this, I do think it brings some innovation to the field since one of the major issues that currently affect bot performance is the internal filters (they get clogged very quickly with pets). The cyclone design and the washable filter are interesting, but the lack of auto-empty, no on-the-floor object tracking (from the looks of it, it uses a 360 camera on the top), very bold color choice, and navigation that is akin to a drunk sailor driving a car for the first time make it a no-go. I expected this to be expensive because it's a Dyson (they put a lot of premium into their brand). But this is ridiculous at this feature set. I can live without mopping or a secondary bot for that if the vacuum performance is superior.

OMG You have so more vacuums than a store does ! Do you have a recommendation for a wet/dry vacuum?! Something to clean up a spilled bowl of cereal?

robots are not at that level yet. but for everyday mopping, the eufy X10 Pro omni is my goto

Crazy price compared to what the market leaders do for the same price. Dyson trying to live off their one hit wonder cyclone vacuum from two decades ago... Time for them to start innovating again or charge a sensible low price. It's a FAIL from me. Very good review 👍👍

dam, I was excited to see this come out. unfortunately, I can already tell how this robot will struggle at basic cleaning, it doesn't clean systematically. I think my Roborock Q7+ MAX still has better cleaning abilities.

Misses a lot. Just vacuum regardless. Does not make much sense to detect anything and then begin suction. Also seems erratic trying to detect. I love my Dyson vacuum but I will stick with my Roborock for daily vacuum and spot cleaning. Thanks for the video.

Crazy how its been out for over a year just not in USA till now. Im open to other brands but I find Dyson to be worth it to me. Not saying every thing is prefect. As for this thing I was hopping it would be the level of Engineering James pushes for and seems like this device they dropping the ball big time. Cant do more passes, no way to tell it to do patterns/directions, suction does not look like its as good would hope for. No empty system. Can go on and on. The price is fine if it does what I expect of it.

Not sure how long you have had the robot but it is intelligent and learns over time. It will not be perfect the first couple times.

Not worth the price what so ever. Well built, but navigation is horrible coming from such a big brand. This thing is a disappointment. I feel like they will release a new updated model soon with better tech.

That's definitely very overpriced, the company needs to leave robotics to other companies that have years of experience in it , dysons first robotic vacuum was also terribly designed.

I hate these kind of reviews Dyson clearly says it’s an self learning machine to adapt to your style of house it needs several cleaning times for it to learn its own cleaning path give the machine time

That's a poor excuse when other robot vacuums that are half the price can quickly "self learn" and adapt to your house in just one quick mapping run. No matter how you look at it, this is a major miss by Dyson. And I say that as a fan and owner of many of their other products. I just backed the Eufy S1 Pro yesterday and that offers significantly more than this while being better at cleaning and costing less.

It’s not even over designed imho, they have bad software. The best robots even have lidar, but dyson wanted to invent the wheel again. Look at how it tried to go back to the base, it was actually blind. 1200 euro/dollar? Where? I have the v15 detect, and thats an awesome vacuum.

Nice review of a horrible vacuum. Dyson has no chance of making any penetration into the robot vacuum market with this.
