When she starts singing in this performance it forces you to quit joking and listen. When she does the first growl you have no doubt this is going to be epic. Nobody and I mean NOBODY has performed this song better. The musicians are fantastic as well. The addition of Screaming Jay in the end is fantastic. Thank you, loved this one.

This little girl sings like a woman that has been singing for thirty years. Her voice is so amazing I just can't believe how talented she is at such a young age. God definitely blessed her with that amazing voice and I'm so glad that I am able to hear sing. So incredible so much control. Their will never be a singer that can give me goosebumps like she does. So much emotion for a little girl.

I have a feeling that you mostly missed the band of excellent musicians that were part of this performance. Legend has it that they fondly call Angelina "the boss" - she is the prime mover regarding the musical arrangements, something she apparently manages with humility and charm. There is a video available of a practice session with her and this band, wallowing in another Screaming Jay Hawkins song, a slow number originally called something like "I'm painting a portrait of a man" - and because Angelina is only 9, her version of the lyrics is something along the lines of "I'm painting a portrait - in oil - of a child". Her interactions with these superb musicians is priceless! You have to understand Norwegian to follow it - in some clips English subtitles are available. She may be only a 9-year old tiny little poppet of a girl, but she is SO on level with these accomplished jazz musicians!

Angelina Jordan is the GOAT. Most mesmerizing and enjoyable singer of all time. There are already some 150 Angelina songs, of a wide variety, and she only just turned 16 on Jan 10th this year. This was never even possible until she arrived.
