Bedrock has dye in cauldrons, arms on armor stands, you get to play with friends and add friends, have multiple avatars, have infinite punch rate, and are applicable to most redstone contraptions, only downside is it doesn’t have borders, and shaders. Edit: I have a PC now so I can play both versions.... 2nd edit: I keep getting mixed opinions and I just want to clear the air: I do not hate either version, they both have pros and cons and everyone can use whichever version they prefer

the worlds on legacy edition are really small but there is an option to make custom layered flat worlds with only mansions spawning wich was cool at the time to make weird survival experiences

java players really dont know how many advantages we have on bedrock. ive played both versions and java is when you have money to spare and i dont like that you cant grow sugar cane with bone meal. bedrock is more inclusive, u can play with switch players on your phone or play with xbox. when i play with friends i play bedrock because java and only play with other java players but not bedrock. i like both versions but bedrock, its just an original for me.

Same I lost 4 worlds tin java edition and I felt sad. the first world was my favorite I knew a lot but still haven't tried it yet it was a blast. It was also my first in 2 years playing Minecraft again because I was to broke lol. And all of them either crashed the computer or game and lost the world or... I just gave up on one... But I played on my phone and never lost a world yet. I was doing better than other java worlds I had and you can crawl so much faster in Bedrock edition and I have more Graphics on Bedrock Edition and it still runs better than Java.

I'd say that java would be better but in my opinion I think that bedrock is the more hard version of minecraft Because of lag,no f3,no trapdoor crouching,different red stone,completely different mechanics that make building farms harder and for all the builders out there yep that's right the item frames and torches won't work,no custom shields,banners that are named won't show on maps making maps somewhat harder to use if anybody does bother using it.and that's all the cons of bedrock Oh ye and the wither has steroids

curriously Nowdays somebody managed to put one of the betas of minecraft in the wii, it is still pretty primitive but it can run run generate worlds

@@randomkerbal A huge chunk of minecraft is redstone which (surprise surprise) doesnt work on bedrock. Also the amount of bugs is abysmal. Crappy Servers and Microtransactions builtin with a fraction of the mod support really puts bedrock to shame. Think objectively then argue.

Do not put bedrock in a really low tear it's good

when Casualty put Bedrock at F but Pocket at S: *You've become the very thing you swore to destroy* (it's the exact same thing, just with sneak, jump and that moving thingy (pretty sure it's not a joystick)) edit: where's Error 422? (basically cursed Minecraft)

No. You can put potions in cauldrons and make arrows with effects pretty easy. (…no…Crossplay‘s still better…)

Yes, bedrock is superior in that way. (Really glitchy for me) Mostly becuse my friend plays of pe and I have a bedrock. (Yada, yada, I got more lol)

He’s just meming mate, and the legacy console edition itself is totally different to Bedrock. Unlike Pocket Edition, it was literally replaced with Bedrock Edition rather than merged into it. It’s a totally different set of code with a totally different set of developers (4J Studios).

Legit most updates are bug fixes and patches. I’ve seen glitches on bedrock where you randomly die out of no where. And you won’t get a virus if you get Minecraft on the official site.

@@SimplyMintyyy yep, you will only get virus if you get Minecraft in random website but if you play bedrock, you will know that the randomly die bug is already fixed in previous betas.

everyones saying how big the community is on bedrock so bugs will be reported. very wrong. most bedrock players are 6-8 years old and they wont know or care about reporting bugs. while java is mostly teens and adults. also everyone is talking about how optimized bedrock is. while that may be true i sure love to fall through the world at 3k blocks when my controller drifts.

The only things i think are really bad in BE is the fact that 1, we get updates a little later 2, we can't install mods and 3, we don't have java's basic hypixel server. Instead we have a bunch of separate server things. Some of which are purely "Pay to play" servers. The only goods ones in my opinion in galaxite and the hive.

You guys all bring up the lack of mods like its a minor thing that can be handwaved away, and not the single biggest factor in Minecraft's continued longevity. Playing exclusively vanilla survival and creative is like playing exclusively vanilla sandbox servers on Garry's Mod. Unmodded Minecraft is fine, but it's not what has kept the game relevant for over a decade, and it DEFINITELY hasn't been Mojang's half-assed annual updates wherein they'd rather ban people for saying mean things and profess Jeb's veganism or whatever than add actual content.

Okay, this was a bit unhinged. Let's kick it up a notch. Minecraft Java runs on, you guessed it, Java. Java is an interpreted language and as long as you have an interpreter, it can run. You do need a launcher that can make the game run, and since the launcher is not made in Java, it quickly becomes difficult. Someone DID make a launcher for Android at some point tho, so it's possible. Maybe someone will make a launcher using Java. Would be nice.

ImNotaCasualty casually not knowing that you can download resource packs, worlds, and mods online for free like in Java that are way better than those in the marketplace and not knowing P.E. is a branch of Bedrock and what mods work with P.E. work with all of Bedrock.

Bedrock edition is good in its own ways that Java edition doesn't. Same for Java edition.

My opinion if you looking for more enchants, bugs made into features, and ez mobs+bosses, Java is the version for you. Bedrock is for people who want a tougher wither, less enchants, and bugs fixed.
