Hell yeah man Im hyped for you! Im walking the same journey as you, i was at Amazon for 2 years and fedex Express for 3. I left fedex because i feel the way they were treating me wasnt worth the pay, now I have my cdl Road Test on the 5th of December!

Failed general knowledge 3 times but passed on my forth time and aced air brakes and combinations immediately after. I'm trying to do tractor trailer for FedEx Express and it's hard to get in man. Nevertheless, I'm happy for you 😁

Congrats bro!! You have officially made it to the fun part of training. Learning to back, drive etc is awesome good time. Do you know if they give you the option to test out in a manual truck or are they autos? If manual, take it in a manual so you don’t have an automatic restriction on your license!

@@matthewp9740 damn. Well, luckily for you, most carriers use autos now. Also I’d use this time to just go ahead and get every endorsement so you have it done. Tanker, doubles & triples, hazmat. Hazmat has to be retaken every 5 years, but the others are for life. Only one I do not have is passenger because I didn’t have a bus to test in at the time

The trucking industry right now is hurting . Industry is over saturated. Expect to make 800 a week if your lucky as a new driver.
