When reporting the Facebook page put that it's pretending to be another business. If you say that it's pretending to be another person you can't find Marius as a person to select, but you can find him as a business

Sad that you had to go through this. Unfortunately scamming seems to be one of the things booming as a result of the pandemic. Lost count of the amount of inspiration I've got from yours and other similar channels - loads of respect and thanks.

I don’t believe that it has anything to do with the pandemic (Covid-19), it’s the pandemic of (greed \ avarice)!

So sorry about this situation. It's sad when people use your goodness and skills to fraud other people, but what you are doing is the right thing. There are some pretty sharp people out there that can help you. Stay cool and watch what happens.

I have reported them and linked this video to all 3 ads there are several comments on each but can't read any of them. Worth the effort had his mortising video stolen and used to advertise products on Facebook. Basically if a selling ad appears and it's not from a mainstream brand or company direct then don't touch with a barge poll. I feel for you Marius there is very little to be done where Facebook is concerned which is why some of the content creators I follow are off to MeWee. Take care and stay safe ,Mike

FourSeason-3 is a new spam account by them. I reported it.

I saw the scam first hand, but it pushed me to your videos so you have a new subscriber :-). Thank you for publishing this video warning people.

I regret that I fell for this scam and even ordered 2 for that price! Should have been wiser. Anyway, I complained when 2 folding stools arrived. They answered my complaint and claim that they will refund me. Thanks for your message.

As I refreshed their FB page it looks like it was taken down.

@@MurcuryEntertainment but doesn't that just put his mark in the stolen footage? In this case he is more worried about the association with the fraudulent group or person then in the stolen footage. With that said you do what you can to protect yourself, particularly the easy things, and a marker on the screen does not affect the viewers experience when done right.

I agree. Marking your products as Jimmy Diresta does, not only protects your products but your video [content]/subscribers/popularity is totally backed by being fully recognized. Correlating your likeness, also in all videos. So mark everything with your name and/or logo before recording it, even if it you use medium that allows you to erase your name off of your finished project(s), if you wanted to. anyone and everyone will know you and your products.

I have proclaimed about this very same situation when I comment on quite a few Utube videos when I mention, “nothing new… been doing that for 50yrs” because I’m 70 now. Mostly it’s for “the monetary gains”, not for contributing towards the process of “brainstorming”!

Reported the video and channel, stupid response from Facebook says that "the video does not goes against the community standards". Asked a review again. Don't let it bother you, man... You work is awesome

I just saw the video come up on an ad in Facebook this morning. I added a comment with a pointer to this video, and I'm reporting the ad as fake to Facebook.

I just spotted another ad on Yahoo! from an outfit called Unicatly.

You are doing the right thing by reporting it. And by posting this video you are making everyone aware of what is really happening on KZread and Facebook. Keep up the good work.

I saw the add a week or so ago and knew it was a scam--I wish I could buy that lifting table for $30 though! I will report if I ever see if in the future. Hope you can snuff this out!

Condolences from Hawaiʻi..I recognized the shop and went " WTF! " and left a nasty comment that it was a scam. Then saw this video, added it to the comment and shared this out to the artist community Iʻm connected to. Hopefully theyʻll all report to FB as well.

I have marked as a scam on the Facebook page but unfortunately there is no provision to include the link to your page. I feel that quite often "Sponsored ads" on Facebook are scams. I thoroughly enjoy your builds and your videos are a joy to watch. Thank you for your great work Marius.

Just spent 10mins replying to all the facebook comments ensuring as many people as possible know it is a scam.

I'll keep an eye on this. Any time you update the description, would you also create a community post, so we can see the new links? I hate FB, but have it and an report as needed.

Make signs with your brand and hang them on walls, stand them on tables or shelves, anywhere they will be in the background during at least 90% of the videos. Make a video about it.

Searched on f/b, but it's gone. Keep it up, Marius, great channel.

I come here, like many others, for the great content. I despise people who take advantage of other peoples' work by presenting it as their own to scam the community. So it is a way we can pay back Marius for all of his hard work -- and say that we appreciate him.

IIRC Markus has put them on Thingiverse. He has a video about his 3d printed stuff, they're probably linked there.

This stupid scam happened to one of my watch service videos, so I did same as you did on this video and I let all my followers know about the scam and that stupid site disappeared in less than ten hours.

I don't use Facebook, but if it's on Facebook, it'll be on reddit eventually. If I see it on reddit, I'll comment with this video's URL and report the post. While I'm at it, I'll also put your entire playlist on play to ight as I sleep. I don't know how much that'll help, but I love your stuff anyway.

There is an add on Yahoo Finance advertising the cart for sale as a kit. Uses parts of your original video in the advertisement.

That's my initial impression. Facebook still shows the ad

Keep aways in the shot your channel name or if you like it more that way watermark the whole video. Don't put the markings near the edges because they can be cut off or blacked out. Also an excelent option, very complcatet to remove later, is to use a color inversion filter and put it in a section of the shot.

Was going to suggest the same. Watermark your videos and to make it difficult to remove, randomly move the watermark around or even change it throughout your videos.

Pretty sure watermarking will not help with this issue. These scammers don’t just steel the content, they also want to lift on the success. Making your video’s more recognizable might even help them in gaining (for a short time) some trust. They just make 100 sells and when reported move to another account and start over. Watermarking will make it easier to report and get stuff offline though. But I don’t think it will stop the scamming. Good luck Marius. I will check the adds and report them. I think that is the best thing that can be done now.

I knew it as a scam; price was too good to be true. Setup a web site and start selling these lift tables at a fair price and I'll buy one. Cheers!!!
