Cecillia!!! SAD - get a set of SAD lights!!! (True sunlight lights.) It will change your life during the black winter months. Seriously. SAD will CAUSE anxiety. Fix SAD, you will probably take care of your anxiety symptoms. I was on subs for 5 years. 3 1/2 months at a time. The lights on a sub are daylight lights. This PREVENTS SAD. You can by the special SAD lights and I recommend in the strongest of terms that you get some. You need 7-8 hours of SAD lights per day. This overcomes the lack of daylight. Some people are far more sensitive to SAD than others.

Sometimes the advices are the most annoying thing. ..You need to sleep more. Have you tried B vitamins? Have you ever try a doctor? You need more fresh air! Guys, you can save yourself the advice for people who are mentally seriously ill and who have been struggling with it for years. Most of them have already tried more than you can imagine. And sometimes, sad as it is, you just learn to live with it.

As a person who has suffered severe panic, anxiety, and depression for all my life I can empathize. The panic became torturous at the age of 37 and lasted until 57. I worked everyday but it was a struggle. I am a self-employed upholsterer in a small town in North Carolina. Finally at 57 I was so physically tired from the struggle to stay sane and just go on, I sought medical help. I was prescribed Lexapro an anti-depressant that helped from day one. I had a life, I could function. It was such a blessing. I’m telling you this to help you know you are not alone, and if you ever need help do not hesitate to seek medical help. I’m 70 now and still on Lexapro and it’s still working. My oldest daughter has the same problem and after years of suffering she is also on an anti-depressant Paxil. I love your vlogs and admire you for living in this beautiful area. Take care of yourself, get close to God, and trust Him but know that He gives wisdom to doctors to help when we need it. God bless you and Christopher and Grim.

Aspects of polar nights and midnight sun sound amazing and appealing. Yet, I know how simply going from the office to working from home for the past 2 years has affected me. And I love(d) being at home before. Now, it takes mental work beyond the normal. Exponentiating that to your unique and fantastic world would most definitely be a mind-game. Books: My son was a reluctant reader. In middle school he read the Golden Compass because he had read "no" books toward his grade. He solely picked that one for the points it held on the grading scale. He was so pulled into the book. Declaring it changed his life as a reader, he insisted I read it as well. Then he asked me to purchase, The Subtle Knife, which he devoured; and for the first time in his life he waited for a book release, The Amber Spyglass. He's never had a book that's had that effect on him since, and he's a little older than you now. What I am saying is to read those last two books. You will love them! Don't worry about the movies. As a teacher, I of course, always recommend the books. I am glad to see you up and running again mentally. I am one who easily can fall into a funk. It's important to safeguard one's mental health. I often use your videos as a pick me up. Thank you.

As a now disabled, immunocompromised nurse living in the US alone, have had near constant anxiety for 3 yrs now. Had studied and prepared for pandemic in 2005 but 2016 my muscles gave out so no one listens to the brain anymore here. When muscles won't hold skis steady, balance is gone and muscles don't generate heat any more in deep cold my expansive world shrank terribly. I started spinning yarn, very calming. Was amazed you change winterwear so often, think this coat is 20 yrs old. Also buy mens size for the long torso and arms and you have me thinking I would like a different color after so long... in Feb the end of season will put things on sale but I suspect there is no such thing there. Take care.

Always take care of your mental health over work, no matter what! Your new clothes are so pretty and yes, you are so tall and long ( I may be a bit jealous, at 5 feet 3 inches tall 😀). Thanks for sharing so candidly about your struggles and how you deal with them. We love you, and your boys🧡Christoffer and Grim. Have a great week and stay warm! ✨✨

Sending you sunshiny vibes from Texas! Good to know you have taken time to listen to your body and mind - and act accordingly. Also very happy you have such strong support from your partner - that helps a lot! Let yourself feel your feelings and acknowledge them. When it passes, be grateful for what this experience has taught you. Best wishes!

Having never known constant darkness, this summer in Australia - on the eastern side - we have had one of the wettest and dullest summers I've ever experienced. It has very much affected my mood but just want to let you know I prefer watching KZreadrs I follow putting out fabulous content whenever it suits them rather than on a schedule. Take care and I so much look forward to your future videos x

I agree about not needing to follow a schedule but I think if you depend on KZread for an income its algorhythms set it up for regularity. Recently I have noticed several KZreadrs apologizing for being off for mental health reasons...shouldn't they be allowed vacations just like everyone else? It is a shame!

Thank you for being open and honest about how you are feeling. I suffered from anxiety years ago when my boyfriend had passed away suddenly. Anxiety is very unsettling! You are doing all the right things. I’m so glad you have Christoffer and friends to help! I love the new clothing and blue coat!! My fiancé Mark and I love watching you vlogs and know sunlight is coming soon! Hugs to you both and Grim!

This winter has been a difficult one. My family and I usually leave our cold dark home for a few weeks during the winter months. This year because of the pandemic (I’m high risk) we are not traveling or leaving the house much altogether. It’s really taking a toll on me so I completely understand the SAD you might be experiencing. I haven’t dealt with it in several years but this year it got me. I hope you start feeling better as the days go by and as the daylight slowly creeps in🙏🤗hugs

I'm sorry the Polar Night had this effect on you. I know it must be hard! I hear my older neighbors complain that it is dark here around 5:30 pm but our sun comes back up around 7:30 or so. I think this virus also just has people feeling down. "Here comes another wave" has people so angry or depressed. I know it has bothered me that I can't hang out with my best friend, her husband has some medical issues so we don't want to take any risks there. I'm glad you are feeling better! We are planning our garden and that helps here. 🙂 Have a good week!

Basta guardarsi attorno.

Yes, the weather, daylight, and our crazy lives can affect our well-being...where I live in Michigan, USA, the cold, snowy and dreary weather can put you into a real funk. A lot of us here play the "count-down until Spring" game, go for walks, read and of course, visit You Tube and you! I am glad you are working on your plan for a better "YOU"...do things that bring you pleasure which is the most important...have a wonderful week!!
