Same here! I have been traveling back and forth to Medellin for 2 1/2yrs. I love this city. I love the surrounding cities such as guatape. I also love the people. Colombia really has gotten a bad reputation. Luckily I understand that there is no perfect place or city in the world.

I've been to colombia in bogota last year before pandemic. Colombia is such a nice country. It has a lot offer. Love to go back there.

I have seen thise huge avocados when I was in South Carolina. I was shock to see them that big. Though I admit being an avocado lover, I was ecstatic . I bought so much making avocado smoothie. Oh la la!

I'm moving there July 1st for a few months but I'm pretty sure ill extend my stay. That place has my heart. 🥰

I lived in Medellin in 2011 to 2012 and I'm so happy you are there. I miss my Paisa friends and my life there. Can you do a part 2 of the food spots, museums, malls, bars and cafes please? Try Bandeja Paisa, Juan Valdez coffee, coffee with rum from a street cart etc. I want to relive those days thru your vlog. Oh and visit Manila st. In Envigado!

I just came back from Colombia to Poland yesterday. We’ve been there only for a short period of a time, so we only travelled through a small part of a country, but we were truly impressed with everything in there and we definitely should go back to 🇨🇴 to see even more! Cheers!

Soy de Medellín, la ciudad que te imaginas es la que vivimos hace 30 años atrás con la violencia, hoy Medellin se ha transformado en una de las mejores ciudades de Latinoamérica, claro que hay peligro como en muchos lugares del mundo, fui a París y me decían lo mismo que les dicen a ustedes cuando vienen tener precaución con los ladrones de calle, de resto es una ciudad y un País mágico. Avocado hack. Next time you can prep your guac/cubes of avocado and portion out in to a ziplock bag and freeze them until you are ready to eat. They will never turn brown in the freezer! Only takes overnight to defrost in the fridge when you plan to eat it the next day.

You are going to LOVE it there in Colombia. My family and I have lived in Costa Rica for about 6 years and I learned most of my Spanish years ago from a good friend of mine who was born/raised in Medallin, Colombia. She always tells me that the cultures in CR and Colombia are VERY similar and also her and I can speak Spanish together and NEVER have dialect issues between the two regions. The culture in both places is VERY warm, inviting and also the cost of living is super low. I hope you enjoy it as much as we've enjoyed living in the Latin Americas! 😊

Once again, warmest welcome to my country from La Puerta de Oro de Colombia (Colombia’s golden gate- Barranquilla aka Shakira’s hometown) and not only to you but anyone who would like to come here is more than welcome anytime. I'll visit when i can. I have a couple of friends in Colombia I'll be visiting someday. Great video and I am Mexican American but you dance better than i can. I've been in the USA too long. There's no Mexicans to dance with in Utah hardly. We're about 1.5% of the population. It's like Hartford Connecticut here. I'm living vicariously through you and other KZreadrs. Until i travel myself. Thanks!
