Working remotely, and particularly, working remotely from another country, has never been so viable and accessible these days! I've been working as a digital nomad for 6 years, and have lived and worked all over the world. In this video, I came up with a list of 5 places in Europe where you can thrive as a digital nomad. This list is based on my own experiences and I hope it helps you with your planning stages as you look for your next destination as a digital nomad in Europe.

If you are not a freelancer but a remote worker like myself, Berlin is perfect. My 8am-5pm workday in the US equated to 3pm - midnight in Berlin, and I was able to enjoy most of the day everyday before sitting down to work my shift. I still had my weekends for the nightlife, but having the entire day everyday to explore around was amazing. There are also over 200 museums in Berlin. It's incredible.

How has this been? I also have a job that's 9 to 5 Pacific time and it seems like having the schedule for 5 pm to 1 am in Europe is pretty nice, you have all day to do stuff then you hang out and work at night

@@zzzyyyxxx It's like being on permanent vacation and getting paid for it. I've worked remote in 10 European countries so far. And compared to the US, it is SO much cheaper. I'm headed back soon for a 90 stay in Eastern Europe.
Another fun, exciting and very informative vlog and wow within just 12 minutes of it you have shared 5 Europeans countries you’ve experienced with precise words and pictures we can already learn something from this vlog really interesting.Doing great on your Takes On the World vlog always learning something new🙌👏👏❤️😘
You're the best, Haley! You're now my " go to " for information. Keep up the good 👍 work!
This was packed with so much valuable information for any traveler. Great work Haley. 👏👏👏👏
I love this vlog, it gives a lot of info. Good job Haley more power. I like the part where it shows Scotland.
Thanks for this video. I applied for the 1-year digital nomad (nomad residence permit) here in Malta and I am loving it so far. The weather is very nice - 300+ days of sunshine. Yey! I'm looking at Portugal next if I won't extend here in Malta.

Finally, an update from Hailey plus features of Europe. 🤩
I love the content Haley!
Hi, thanks alot for this video it really helps. Can you please confirm the following: 1) if I nomad visa/certificate for Portugal or Estonia will I also get schengen visa? Like during this period will I be able to travel within the schengen zone. 2) In proof of employment does my company alao have to mention that I'm allowed to work remotely?
Fantastic locations! among the 5 i think Croatia has the edge. I mean, you’re still Europe but not so European. You’re right that it has everything of both world. It’s not costly as well. And year round balmy Mediterranean weather. Not as noisy as Berlin.
Thank you for this. 💛
Poland has the right mix of decent infrastructure, transport links, low cost, interesting activities and socially sophisticated culture which can both accommodate foreigners and retain their own unique identity. An easy recommend from me is Krakow. If you stay in Kazimierz, the old Jewish quarter, you can get a local feel of a place which has great nightlife while being a walking distance to the historic Old Town and all the mod-cons you could need.
I think the video is missing one country: Spain. 1-Pretty good connections with all Europe. 2-Modern infraestructure 3-Nightlife 4-Network opportunities 5-Huge expat community 6-Reliable internet 7-One of the lowest homicide rates in Europe 8-Quality medical services 9-Cheaper cost of living vs Germany or UK 10-Much culture, history, beaches, mountains etc 11-Sun 12-Food PS: great video!

Where would you recommend in Spain for a digital nomad?
@mjcmjc-c1z
2 жыл бұрын
@@dariodistefano4777 I’ve lived there for 3 years and definitely one of the best countries I’ve experienced, then I moved to Miami because I like living in different cities and countries around the world. Spain is so diverse, which makes it hard to pick a specific destination so I recommend you to make your own research because the location will differ depending on your lifestyle. However, I can tell you that for me the best cities are Granada, Sevilla, San Sebastian and the Canary Islands or Mallorca (if you are into beaches and all that comes with it). But my favourite is Madrid, for me one of the best european capitals.
Cheers, nice video, helpful for me since I'm planning to remote work around Europe in a few weeks/months. And ditto on other commenters I woulda put Spain in there as well, eg. Barcelona..beautiful, walkable, inexpensive, easy language, etc.
Great video thanks. I'm moving back to Europe from the United States in July, I carry an Italian passport, one thing is not very clear to me, do I need a visa for these countries even though I'm Italian?
i spent a month in estonia and it is amazing! best combination of modern and old. Great christmas market also and shoppings. excellent historical places and really close to other amazing locations like Sweden and st,. petersbourg.
How are you finding accomodations? Is there any better way than airbnb?
quite informative, loved it...!!!!
Pro tip: fast forward to 4:15 for start of any actual content :)
Try Breda Netherlands from there easy to go to Belgium or Germany from Breda . Breda have a historical inner city full of restuarants and cafe.
What are your views on Hungary? I’m planning to apply for their DN visa.
Do I have to show necessary a year of bank statement in order to be able to apply for D7 Visa Portugal? meaning I have to have one year of working for this company that's just employed me ?
4 Minutes into the video and she finally starts
God bless you and your family
Nicely done video. Easy to understand, quite informative and enjoyable to watch. Thank you.
Aye aye aye Haley Takes On The Universe!
Shout out from Vienna Austria ❤️❤️ the Dasovich Family ❤️❤️
"Digital Nomad"... You got it right which is a reality for most people now.
Can online ESL teachers be considered a digital nomad? I love digital nomads, they were all IT guys, with abs though, so trustworthy and worth our time. Europe definitely the ultimate fantasy, at least a week in Greece or Scandinavia.
Try Cyprus Island, good prices and great food.
if I am eligible for a Digital Nomad visa (in any EU countries). After living there a few years Can I apply for a Permanent residence there in Greece/ Italy/ Spain leading to Citizenship ???
Hi Haley, Please come to Canada!
Recommend the Caribbean islands..
