As a teenager In the late 80's, I installed head lights and tail lights in small lego cars with button cell batteries and even wrote a letter to Lego with diagrams asking if they were interested, they said they thanks, but no thanks.😢. So here I am just turned 50 and still working 10 hour days going backwards.

Awesome . Wouldn't the smart move be to hook up with Lego ? Alternatively,at some point it would be a smart move on their part to offer him a Fat check for his business.

Amazing, please make more content like this - when you visit their warehouses etc. It's such an interesting insight, there's now a UK show called inside the factories that go around and show how they operate (they just did LUSH). I got a book at Christmas called Made in London which is an insight into different businesses still operating from London, amazing photographs and so interesting. I manufacture handmade products from my warehouse so maybe I'm bias, but it's a lot more interesting seeing the processes than just dropshipped products where the vendor isn't handling anything.

Why not previz in 3D? I guess that could be the next step, hire modeller and lighters or download the models from Lego (may need some type of deal to get that?) Or just use some scanning device to scan it in and light it in 3D, then you can do lots of iterations and renders, even figure the builds and what components need to change, all in 3D... Since my reply comment has been *removed clarifying* that I meant *Pre-visualisation in 3D,* I'll add that here...

This content is such awesome value, this product is a really cool idea, I'm glad this guy is having great success! With business like this that are kind of built on top of huge business like lego (example the guys that originally created airbags and then apple created their own and pretty much destroyed their business) could that not potentially happen to Light My Bricks? how would you avoid something like that happening with this company? maybe making an app?

I was around in the lego community on instagram about 6 years ago. These kits started as 99% "china versions". I think it was these, already made kits, he started selling and over time when the company grew they have started to develop their own kits. I believe the instruction part kan be a selling point because these china versions probably aren't doing a great job on explaining how to actually insert them, atleast on the more complicated sets.
