I think dash attacks from enemies just don't trigger on-hit-effects. That puts flare on the list as a counter measure, as well as reprisal, or whatever Justice's retaliatory smite is called. I think it's crazy how deep this game is for how limited the current version is.

Thanks dude! Didn't think I would hit it after getting sick a few weeks back but ita a pretty sweet way to start the new year.

Where I could see this potentially *really* shining, is with Kront w/ mountain; running: Justice, Krom (GoW legendary), and maybe fire for Gehenna? Super passive, super beefy boy. Buff up HP and armor as much as possible, to offset damage increase from GoW, then Gehenna means you never have to actually attack. Justice for the healing and armor; and you can buff hp further with fates. Yeah, highly rng dependent, but might work out. Especially if Kront has a thorns weapon

I like the idea but I don't think it works without the unique sword that only Avoron can use

I actually love this build, had this idea immediately when I came upon that gem of a sword.. literally unkillable if you get lifelink as a bonus

It's one of the best in the game imo. If you use the parrot rune and don't take vampirism its pretty hard to lose lol

And even if you do get Vampirism as long as your gear has some extra life you'll still be okay with all that +% healing as long as you got something to hit@@gamingwithjeff

Justice and Summer are the only two gods you “need”. Justice for the reprisal and consecration, and Summer for the boon that shoots a fireball(same as smite). I’m not sure how well Mort scales here with mayhem, but sometimes we get what we get lol.

Found a pair of heavy boots that let you rarity upgrade to master. Makes the knights adept build absolutely cracked

Finally a super cool unorthodox build!

I loved doing thorns runs in Diablo, and this SO put me in the mind of one! As a "rough draft", I'd say it passed beautifully, and can't wait to see it once you've got it better nailed down! Any tips on getting Unique items, since that's one of the areas that I'm lacking in?

Best way is to beat dracula and the highest difficulty you can do it consistently. Obviously the higher the better but if you can do d26 everytime and d30 half the time I would focus on d26

consecration looks to be 100% melee based proc, dashes are spells technocly, and it didnt look like it did anything for projectiles until late game. very broken run! nice find!!!!

I've been wanting to but I didn't think I had enough good + heal % gear. Turns out I do now, but I still think this could be better.

This was hilarious. Bravo!

I'm thinking Justice, Summer, Death with the Expert offers rune. Build for high HP. Banish reprisal and the armour one on Justice and get flare and some burning stuff for summer along with combust and the skill that leaves flames when burning enemies die as well as Vehemence for spell damage. Mort should focus on XP gain, Ravens, Mayhem and Serendipity. Malady could also be quite nice if possible. For the dash, get justice for the ability to keep moving while attacking without slowing down.

After further testing, this seems like the way to go, good call!

One thing about this build is that your weapon damage practically doesn't matter. Soulstealers work from enemy Hp %, and damage reflect skill works from enemy damage.

there is a pair of boots that have upgrade chance to expert on lv up. so u can pick novice and up it all to at least expert

Do you mean the Heavy Metal Boots? Those let you go from Expert to Master. You can normally go from novice to expert but you don't want to because it costs a level everytime you go up a rarity. Better to just start at the top =p

I had this run but with 700 armor and 250 evasion. So ~80% dmg reduction and ~50& dodge chance. I also had Day of Judgment and Inferno to wipe the map and lightning god for cooldown reduction. I was like a one man rumbling.

What’s actually causing the reflect damage? Only thinking cause you could go massive hp with vampirism would that also work?

Reflect damage seems based solely on Conescration and the enemies damage. Vampirism wouldn't work because without armor you just die. Mayyybe if you had an insane amount of + healing it might be okay but then I'd be worried about getting 1 shot.

you were healing 96% of the damage done, if my math is correct, you had 220% healing. 13% more and i am quite sure that if it doesnt 1 shot you you are immortal. had you had 1 or two more levels of justice's healing boon you would have gotten there. cant wait to see the optimised version. also, i think we broke the game.

I'm fairly certain I can get +healing % on 2 more pieces as well. It may actually be an invincible build lol

my guess that after damage reduction and healing between 66% of the damage taken, it rounds to zero. that is why you take damage from the stronger enemies, i hope you manage to get to the 233% healing in this video i will comment after i am at 3:08 right now.

Still farming... I mean, I found tons of uniques, even double and triple very useful items... But not the Equilibrium sword!! Damn it, I really wanna play this build :/

This build is insane. I cant wait to see a optimized for damage version of it.

Correct, seems to count as a spell

To maximize that build you want high hp low armor, the less armor you got the more dmg you take and the damage reflected will be alot higher. Also evasion is a straight up nerf to your own dmg.

Evasion is a dps nerf, but a defensive buff. In hindsight I agree that I would be better off without it though.

I suspect so, unless the enemy dash is like the player dash with I-frames and they are dodging consecrate lol

what is this nonsense? the only thing I can think dumber is a 100% damage reduction run, but that's probably not possible.
