Wait they are getting rid of the signs? Oh man I like the signs, so Merris won't have infinite pull anymore 😢? Something that I like about this game compared to many other survivor rouge likes is how gear focused it is, Halls of Torment has armor + stat buffs, vampire survivors has no armor but just stat buffs. But something I wish DMD had is more achievements, challenges, or unlockables. Hope we get lots more in the next update. Like new outfits, more ways to change the hub, or even boons that are unique to each character like Halls of Torment has that you must unlock first.

@Dribin No guarantee the signs are going away but the dev road map has talent trees noted as a coming feature. I suspect signs will be merged into the trees unless it ends up being a singular generic skill tree ( hopefully not)

As usual, Necromancy crushed Drac at the end. Those skeletons mean bidness.

This is the funniest run i’ve seen of this game so far!

To me this game just feels like Time, Mort, and Justice is a guarantied win and everything else is like "maybe"? It just doesn't feel like anything else just can't keep up.

Divine Shield just doesn't update it's actual cd after the armor is taken into account, if you look at 26:10 - 26:15 I believe the cd there is approximately 4.8 sec.

I hadn't thought about it as I normally account for it manually and tend to check the character sheet, but yeah, it should update on the card with parenthesis to show actual CD... Maybe a bug report or feature request is in order. 🤔

OK LOL. The first run was ridiculous but I do need to stary hydrated and everyone else too.

I have gotten two uniques out of the reliquary chests. Don't even really find them that often. As you said though its all random I dont know if they actually have an increased rate.

I love you having a 50k dps skill in the back pocket with link but not needing it as you accidentally rolled Master splinter....That really changed a few things.

Yeah you had squad of skeletons from Ritual Alteration rolling necromancy that just stomped Necro in like 20 seconds. I couldn't even tell if he teleported. I remembered it because you were on a tangent about rolling the update when it comes out and didn't even acknowledge him being there or dying, haha.

when the game first came out i was talking about it to my friend who also plays dark souls like me, and when i got in and saw bonfires i told him oh yea im gonna like this game, it has bonfires..

I NEED the Elden Ring dlc

The skeleton mob that hit Dracula actually did a lot of damage. You can see him start to melt when the mob runs into him. Even without summoner, Skeletons are very strong.

The key with summons is getting spell speed and either Expert or Master. Otherwise they move to slow to do anything.

yeah, i just got the game, been playing and picked lifelink today, didn't have it that long but the build was fun and lifelink was #1 damage... i couldn't believe it. it was just killing everything. been trying to do a full curse build but still to new to have really any reroll gear but have banish gear heh

Yup, best dash skill in the game by a large margin. On release day it actually did something like 3x more damage lol

30:20 Almost missed out on a dragon relic yesterday because I nearly forgot to check the store :) People definitely need to be checking store after every run.

Justice the tsundere god haha

Taking Time's Force perk with infinite pull allows you to damage mobs as the gems flow to you from the edges of the screen, right? I always take that with this kind of build.

Yep, it's very good, but then I wouldn't have done lifelink stuff, and I was already trying to avoid other skills taking over lol

Something to think about: When you alteration ritual into gold digger... if you then take vigor or any gain %life shrines... it should permanently boost your life by the % of the temporarily boosted HP. Although thinking about it right now... are there any %life shrines or would it just be that vigor gains a little more value during that period...?

Im fairly certain it's static and you wouldn't keep the extra life.

@@gamingwithjeff ahhh umm sorry, let me elaborate.. say you have 70HP, you get a temporary boost of say 30HP to make the math easy... now you have a total of 100, but when it wears off you loose that boost and would go back to 70. During that boosted time say you took a "+10% life" (again for easy math)... you would gain 10 HP instead of 7. So now when the temporary boost wears off you should have 80 life rather than 77. That's all that i meant.. the value proposition is minimal at best..

I think I worded my response poorly. I understood what you meant. I believe the way it currently works in your example is that once the buff wore off you would have 77hp and not 80.

When I pick *FORCE* it always ends up doing like 1M+ damage overall....i dont even put points to it , it is not a piority ... you should try it sometimes with this legendary perk

Check out them projectile velocity gloves with candy cane stuff on Merris with Warped Strike. Attacks fly like crazy, nerds get frozen

@gamingwithjeff cool! I tryed a attack speed and Luck run with Sickles and Flame Breath was interesting. Not sure if thr Thrice attack counts as hits for spell procs or not

I feel like you need to somehow try this again but without using ANY other Blessings that can deal direct damage (aka. have a ton of Banishes). That would be the true test for Lifelink.

the thing with lifelink is ... if u get it, run is over ... if its at least epic you can just kill dracula in 10 seconds with it or less and nothing is a problem for u anymore ... you need zero equipment or buffs for it ... its sooo broken xD also i think u ALWAYS take pandemonium ... u can take alteration level 1 and get to level 66 and not get pandamonium ... in fact i nearly never get it xD

I am playing a run while watching this... Alteration Ritual just stacked LVL 5 Time Field and LVL 5 Wintertide... Both Master. The entire screen is a slow bubble... hahahahah

lol, its actually insanely strong as well. Basically stunlocks bosses.

I skipped though the video to 5 different places and didn't see lifelink used once. I guess I need to roll more luck.

He used it a lot, if you watched for more than the length of a short. He did use Curse to stack damage onto lifelink and for curse you have to auto attack or use ravens only i guess so that way you dont auto attack. I felt let down when he didnt kill baron using it and was auto attacking. wanted to see how much dps it was doin

If you're trying to max out lifelink, why the hell wouldn't you take Master Mayhem at 47:28? It affects spells based on my testing.

Fairly certain I mentioned it in the video but the idea was to do with run without Mayhem because it's an auto win. I believe Mayhem only showed up then because of Alteration ritual.

splinter only affects your basic attack

When you chose summoner instead of master deadlock on a lifelink build confused me ngl. Video title is a big lie XD
