This is a really unique Koopa boss, I like his design and how each stage is designed

Hell yeah, Dark Koopatrol Appreciation! It honestly feels bad that they haven't done anything at all with them from all this time with how legit badass they look!

What the turtle doing? 🐢

It would be cool to see the sword actually be a weapon Kevin uses to hit Mario back and overtime he gets faster and angrier with the sword. The sword could have rebounding properties. This is a cool boss and honestly it's good to see a Koopa defending itself till the end. Edit : Then again you'd have to change how the koopa even works to make the sword useful so makes sense lol.

It’s a cool design but boss fights are better when the boss is the actual challenge, not the stage

I could definitely see what he resembled. I love Paper Mario (especially the first two in the series) and loved that battle arena chapter with those Dark Koopatrols and that which looked cool. Apart from Paper Mario, no games have even had Koopatrols, let alone dark ones. If they happened to be in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, that would be really cool; I am yet to see the clip of that direct. I really enjoyed watching that one with the lava thwomp in the thumbnail, followed by this one. You are awesome and that. Kevin was epic and so was that arena for sure. Looked really cool, I must say out loud; and with that last bit of armor. And the fact that he had a sword (that was kind of like a spear or something) was cool too, and a spear or sword powerup in Mario would be cool. (Oh that's right, I almost forgot that there's the sword powerup in Mario Maker but if there was one that was just a sword but still being Mario and not having the bombs and arrows). If you were next to add the elephant apple to other Mario games (such as that one), that would be awesome.

Kevin without the Shell and the Lost Kevin's Shell should had Custom Models too They both change Colors Kevin with the Shell is Grey but Yellow without? And the Shell is Purple with Spikes when Kevin wears it but Green without Spikes when Kevin loses it? Also could be a Custom Upgrade for Mario too
