Clearly Terry just lives in an abandoned hotel.

I can't help but see Terry as a regular octopus that just squeezed itself into a skull. Some octopi will "wear" shells for protection from predators, so maybe Terry found a big skull somewhere and decided it would make a nice home.

Terry actually seems to be a biological female octopus! The tentacles have suckers that go all the way to the end, where male octopi have scoops on the end of their tentacles. Congrats on the transition, Terry!

If he's a zombie octopus like the most recent video implies, wouldn't he be *re*living his best life?

Fun fact! The skull of an octopus isn’t in the big sack behind the head (which is where all it’s organs are even though it looks like just a head), it’s actually sort of between the eyes, and covers just the brain. Also, octopedes can fit through any hole larger than their beak. Which I think is just neat.

So they're kind of like rodents? A mouse can squeeze through any hole they can fit their head through (smallest size being roughly 1/4 of an inch).

From what I'm seeing only some species seem to have them, and mostly it just looks like a small armor plate between the eyes. The internet really does not want to give me a good answer on that question, and is more interested in showing me tattoos of human skulls with tentacles.

Loved this so much I was inspired to add "Terry" to my D&D game as the undead pet of a lich that my players were helping out (though I changed the name to Tim). In true fashion, the party has developed an unhealthy attachment to Tim, one of them almost driven to tears when she failed her roll to safely shoot him out of a cannon into a lake (context, they were fighting an undead horde and wanted to summon the queen of the lake to help out--the queen wished a trade of a "living being" and the party chose Tim so he could be "reunited" with his people). Their beloved Tim smashed onto the hard, winter ground and somehow barely survived with two HP. They were cheering on Tim as he inched his way to the lake and to safety.

It’s really cool seeing Terry being made again after a while and seeing how the process changed. You can see where Adam’s improved as an artist in the way he puts the sculpture together and what he changed about the paint job. The finished product definitely shows it best- Terry has never looked better!

I love how the text at 2:22 says "Don't let this 10 second clip fool you. Sanding this smooth took about 2 hours", and then Adam says "After just a touch of sanding" lmao

Terry is the reason I subbed to this channel when I first watched the pool video, and this video incentivized me to finally bite the bullet and buy the plushie of him. I love this channel, it’s so chill, yet so cursed.

I love how you go "I'm gonna put a octupus zombie in a bathtub" and simply.... do it. Art is truly amazing. Also love how I never know if it's going to be something weird, kinda gross, scary, cool or just nice and nerdy.

16:08 The way you made these rings is exactly how to make a necklace! Maybe do jewelry episode? I think you'd do awesome!!! There was a kit that NerdEcrafter reviewed once of a clay that after baking turns into gold/silver. It'd be sooo cool!

Terry has a regular octopus head, that skull is basically a hat. Terry took that skull as a trophy, he has multiple skulls, this one just matched his outfit. Also, he should make the rest of the house, including a bedroom and living room of horrors.

As a final for my AP history class we have to build a 3d model, and me and my friend are doing it on the Berlin Wall. I didn't think it would be that hard, but now I have 100x more respect for how good you are at what you do. 🥰

I know this comment is gonna be down at the bottom but, I wanted to say that I love watching your videos and they always make me want to try to make things. I started painting again for the first time in a long time and part of it is looking at certain parts and going “not just good but good enough” instead of stressing needlessly. You are not alone! I studied at art college like 20yrs ago, developed pretty severe depression and couldn't do it anymore. I had no drive or desire to do art; mostly as I'm a perfectionist. I'm now clawing myself back into it and celebrating the wins, and being "good enough" not perfect. ❤

The original Terry video was the first video I ever saw of yours and I was immediately hooked! So talented and hilarious!

Terry really came out beautiful in his own creepy way. I also love that you built whole walls for this, and then carefully and meticulously destroyed them. Very, very cool.

Pro Tip: twist the rings to the sides (similar to how they appear when you cut them out) to open and close them. This will prevent them from being deformed and let you get a much tighter closure than pressing them together

As someone who works in construction, I can confirm all of your terminology was correct (plaster, lath, studs, etc) and I am absolutely elated about it. Note: unless it’s horsehair plaster (which I hate to use or demo in equal measures) you usually don’t need lath. You can just drill the drywall panels onto the studs. Just some construction factoids. Love your work as always.

I'd like to think Terry spends his Saturdays at the pool, but the rest of the time he's at his house, where he sleeps in the bathtub. Next I'd like to see Terry on vacation. In the ocean. Scaring children.

You know, the first video I watched of yours as the zombie octopus in the pool. It was recommended to me and I saw the thumbnail, read the title and thought "hey, this looks really awesome and pertains to my aesthetic and interests quite well!" and so i decided to watch it, and immediately loved your energy and the video. It was then I subscribed immediately and been following since. So, seeing this once again in my recommended feed, getting to see Terry again, it was very nostalgic and just.. made me feel warm and fuzzy. I hope to see more of Terry soon again, keep up the great work Adam!
