I Made A Sci-fi Wizard's Tower for Warhammer 40.000

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Hi friends! In this video I show you how I made a psyker's tower out of a Pringles can. If you don't know already, psykers are in essence the wizards and sorcerers of Warhammer 40K. That thought gave me the idea of making the sci-fi equivalent of a wizards tower.
This project was part of a challenge over on the Discord channel. I really didn't plan on making it as elaborate as it ended up being. But that's how things seem to go. :-)
There was a hint of inspiration drawn from Necromunda, though believe psykers are called wyrds in that game, but also I also had the vibe of Mordheim in the back of my head.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy the video!

As an actual industrial engineer and former structural steel inspector, you explaining the difference between W/H (wide-flange) and I beams really put a smile on my face. Structurally, they're quite similar, but I beams shine as horizontal members installed at higher elevations of a structure due to lighter weight. Vertical members are almost always W/H, because of the flat edges on the flange, but W/H aren't exclusively vertical members. Also, if you're in a pinch for small rod (your hinges and handles) the shaft from cotton swabs works quite well. Plus you can get a little extra use out of the swabs you're probably already using.

Nice!!! I like how you kept the top part separate so you can use them for other buildings. Well done.
